Was it a functioning weapon? I ordered a sword from Cold Steel and they required ID to prove I was over 18

This company asked me to send a picture of my photo id with their logo in the background after payment was taken. (Not on this item but a previous purchase)
Shady practice I think.

Good price, but the Season Pass DLC does not include the best DLCs; Last Survivor and Crew Expendable.
