brilliant, managed to get in and grab one - only want it for aliens, so £2.99 is still well worth paying for that. cheers OP.

I hope you know they can't be sold separately, unless you are looking to only sell the disks to CEX for 30p. Serves you right :P

Not looking to turn massive profits for any of them really, just to cover the cost of a single copy of Aliens.

It was a stonking deal alright - love Alien and Aliens and like Alien³. I posted one earlier for Game Of Thrones Seasons 1-4 Blu-Ray (New) for £31 Delivered. It was gone within 30 mins!

Game used to do some great deals for reconditioned consoles - they often had first generation PSP's for £20 quid and they're the ones that can easily be jailbroken to run old emulators on as well.
Got one and had a nice little portable Commodore 64 machine for a while which was great.

I bought a reconditioned PS2 from them for peanuts - and bought a joblot of Games from eBay for a few quid. Been playing the old Doom on it!

For the sake of £2.99? Is it really worth depriving several other people of a bargain for it?

Anyone had any experience of the online, in store stock checker? As in, is it reliable. A couple of my local stores are showing low stock but I'm not sure if it's worth the trip :smirk:

Yeah it's reliable. But I suggest you be fast to pick up whatever it is you're after.

Hope you know that you'll only be able to sell this for £5.00 on Ebay, with £2.00 profit. Also take into account that you have Ebay and Paypal fees, with postage on top. Now think to yourself, was it worth ordering multiple of the same items, and taking advantage of the sale?
They buy them for £4 cash. If I sell the two extra copies, I make £2 profit.
I can likely sell the remaining disks of the third set individually in the local cash converters for 50p each giving me Aliens on Blu-Ray and 51p clear profit. Perfectly fine with me.
#edit
well there you go. updated overnight and now bought in for £6 a set, so selling the two spares clears £12 quid which covers the cost of all 3 and leaves me £3.03 left over, without having to sell any of the additional disks from the third set.
