LI-ION Battery on this. Should charge quickly and will hold its charge well. Hot from me.

Vax also do one too here for 85 it is 20v from what i can see and the battrey is removable so if it does have issues you can always just replace it. A lot of machine the battrey is inside and hard to replace. This is another option if that's your concern.
AEG - HOT for the brand name. Qualiteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...........

I currently have a vax air upright vacuum which I'm finding a nightmare to get out with toddlers around. Plus it's very heavy imo. What recommendations would you suggest - either a handheld for quick spills or a cordless vacuum which can also be handheld? Stairs are also an issue with the current vax I have

I am in a similar situation a had a old VAX air reach corded one it broke down and since mine came with a 6 year warranty the service is amazing and they sent me a new one. Its the new model and its good but feels a lot heavier the suction is too strong to push on heavy carpet but still a good vacuum. I am looking for something light with good suction. Its either this or VAX cordless. AEG are supposed to be built really good but VAX customers service has been really good for me and other members of my family. The VAX is one has a stronger motor I believe but how efficient it is I don't know and it only last 20 minutes but you can remove the battery which you cannot do with AEG but is lighter and last longer between charges. I am a bit undecided

Thanks for the info. A few options here so I think I'll let my better half decide. John Lewis will price match which makes this tempting. The amazon reviews are positive but seem to be from people on the Amazon Vine Programme where people are given the item to try

AEG is a brand name owned by Electrolux. Good price, and if it is as good as the Bosch Athlet I bought last year for around £150, it is a bargain!:sunglasses:
Showing as £79.90 for me.

actually its a pretty good idea when you use this in small crevice or spaces the lights show if you actually swept up or if its still dirty and needs and another run over normally you would just run the vacuum and think its clean when its not
