Just bought 2, have a couple of airplay devices already and they work a treat. If these behave similarly I'll be happy. Aware the sound quality may not be the best but for bedrooms and the current solution of my phone at max volume isn't much to live up to.

These are fine, not as good as my Bose but then not in that price range, this is a steal!

Its arrived! Very pleased.
Its a heavy quality speaker and the stereo separation surprised me at the distance I listened from.

Yup, my two arrived today. Very pleased all in all, look smart, pretty solid, sound good at the low volumes I've tried (though the loud beep when they connect to the network is mildly irritating) and easy enough to setup. Have 3.5mm aux - not tested, usb (works with lightning connector on my iPhone 6) plus airplay obviously. Couldn't see in instructions how you rename them from "Bertie177xxx" but since I knew my other airplay devices broadcast a Web page I found the ip address they'd been assigned by the dhcp router, navigated to each devices address in chrome (or whatever) and you can rename and also assign static ip and wireless settings. Might help someone.
Minor bugbears would be:
1. They don't appear on the airplay list unless you power them on with the button each time (they time out and go into standby after a little while). My yamaha amp and boston mc200air remain visible and auto power on once selected to play. An inconvenience, nothing more.
2. At least one suffers from a very slight wireless interference. When on but not playing there's a very quiet hiss that can be heard when stood next to it - inaudible once music is on and def goes when in standby.
For £16 I'm very happy even with the cons mentioned. There's no other airplay (not Bluetooth) speakers I've found that come close in terms of price and they do a decent enough job.

You can airplay off android, loads of apps available. You can also airplay from iTunes and use your android device as a remote.

Interesting. For an android only user (and windows on the PC) how can I use this for network and android phone/tablet music playback? Do I have to use iTunes (not my fav app!). Thanks.

No you can stream music directly off the Android device or off a NAS drive using many apps (or shared media folder on your PC). bubble cast, allconnect, allcast, ezcast are all pretty effective. Infuriatingly none work well with Google music and airplay, which is where all my music is.

My 2 have just arrived.
Great speaker, decent sound for the price. Only 2 niggles are : Can't change the name of the speaker and it goes on standby after a while if nothing's playing. This means to AirPlay music from your phone you need to press the on button on the speaker first. The on button is on the back of the speaker too. It would of been better on the top or front.

I bought three at this price. Did firmware update on one of them and now it doesnt go to sleep. Also if I power it off from mains it reconnects to wifi when I switch on the mains.

You can change the name (see above), and I agree it would be better if they would wake up automatically. Bought three. At this price, I feel like buying one for everyone I know. Great speaker!

Apologies for late reply.
All I did on one of the 1st units I received (I got 3) was click on update on its webpage, it seemed like it was loading something and then the unit automatically rebooted. After restarting ( I had to re-pair with Wifi) I noticed it stayed online always and never went offline. I tried to do the same procedure on the other two units and noticed the update page asks you to select a firmware file. Since then, I have this one unit that never sleeps and the other two always sleep in a couple of minutes of inactivity, which is weird.
