7ft snow effect artificial Christmas Tree. was £199 then £99 then £79 and now just clicked and collected it from my local homebase for £35!!!!

Would anyone in Hampshire be interested in one? We've bought one, not opened it yet, and decided we don't want it... Will leave this up for a few days and if not, we will just take it back for a refund.

Collection would be from Privett, Hampshire (Or could possibly meet up when I'm in/around Portsmouth/Gosport).

If you can find it in stock at Argos, they should price match as they are the same company. We have done this a couple of times in past year without any issues.

Many thanks. Just collected ours. Although I'd imagine there will be disappointment as the shop assistant said he'd had 15 people in to collect but only 12 in stock.

Do you realise it's a 320 mile, 6 hour round trip from Glasgow to Inverurie!? For a ruddy Christmas tree!? On 3rd January!? :confused:

I live 5 miles from Inverurie and have reserved the last one which I will definitely pick up tomorrow :smile:

Before you will go to car and start that wonderful journey.
Phone Homebase Inverurie and let them know that you are coming and ask to check is it actually in stock.
last 3 "bargains" that I had reserved with them:
1.) came to the shop just to be advised that item is actually not in stock and they would call me in next couple of hours to let me know that (but I was there around 9 in the morning)
2 and 3 ) - received phone call that again items are wrongly marked in system as in stock, but actually nothing in reality.
Check before you will start your journey.
BTW - stupid idea to travel 300 miles for a Christmas tree that cost 35 quid.

Its just a £35 artificial tree, who cares if it was £199 or not. I think folk are buying it as it sounds a great bargain, look at the picture! Not a patch on my real tree. Save your £35 and buy a real tree next year.
