I've got several sets of the 2100mAh 'Good To Go' AA batteries which I must have bought from 7dayshop about 3 or more years ago, and they've been great in my digital camera, strangely despite their age performing better for endurance than the Tronix 2500mAh AA's I bought from Lidl or Aldi.I know they're not the best, I've also got some Eneloops, but for the price I think they're well worth it, as they have a decent usage time comparable with quality alkaline although obviously it'll depend on the current drain of the device, but certainly anything is better than wasting money on all those awful £ shop batteries, but even they sell 800mAh rechargeable batteries (probably more like 500-600mAh).Over the years, I've gradually changed all my battery operated items over to rechargeable batteries, saving a small fortune, although for remote controls and so on in which they have very low drain I use alkaline as they last over a year.

The 850mAh are the AAAs, you won't find much higher than that in the smaller form factor. The AA ones, which are the ones the XBox controllers take, are 2150mAh.

You won't do them and favours fast charging, that applies to all rechargeables. If you need your batteries to last longer and stay in tiptop condition grab one of 7dayshops intelligent chargers. Expensive at £19.99 but its an extremely good charger.

Thanks for the reply. I think for my main use of rechargeable batteries, I would not notice. On average, I can get through a set of 2900mAh batteries in a day with my camera. It would be useful for use in wireless mice etc. though as they are sitting around a lot when not in use.

Sorry hijack this post with another question but does always charging them with a 20 minute charger reduce the life? I am assuming it does!

It's not only while they're stored, but while they're being used in something where batteries would normally last more than a few weeks where you will notice them lasting much longer than the traditional types.

I am looking for some new rechargeable AA batteries to replace the 7dayshop ones I bought a few years ago.

Please correct me if I have missed something (other than the convenience of them being charged). I can see the discharge thing too but not sure why that would be useful unless you are keeping a large amount of them stored to use after a long time.

I bought a load of these a while ago and they're garbage - half of them have failed already (despite being charged correctly) and they don't hold their charge much better than standard rechargeable batteries, certainly nowhere near the level eneloops do.

Those are absolutely fine for cordless phones, because the phone is charged too regularly for the benefit of low self-discharge cells to be felt.

1300 mAh AA are terrible old skool rechargeables. (Not the stay-charged kind) No wonder they didn't last long ....

Got a set of good to go AA batteries listed as a hot deal on here last week or week before and to be honest in my wireless headphones the Duracell's simply I picked up in pound land lasted almost twice as long. Can't claim to know about power output of each etc.

So maybe shop2 batteries ready to go are good on things used on occasion but I was disappointed on quick they ran out. Also to add the head phones give warning saying battery low. On the Duracell you get almost 20mins of play back at that point with the 7day shop you get a few mins max

Only 850mah? Not really that good to be honest. Had 1300mah in Xbox and they run flat after 3 hrs. The higher the ampage the more you pay.

I wouldn't touch this company I ordered eneloop batteries and was sent a cheap head torch. I emailed them and after sometime they asked for photo,s after which they told me the batteries I ordered are out of stock. absolute cowboys

I have some of these, and some of the similar ones from VapexTech. (In AA's. My AAA's are all Vapex ones)

The Vapex ones are better. Last longer in use and hold their charge better when not in use. But not by huge margins, and the Vapex ones are a little more expensive. So, on balance, these are decent enough, especially at this price.
