Got these but 10 metres for about £12 6 months ago, every colour in the rainbow plus bright white light.
Each to their own.

Really thin layer of paper on these, heat hell a lot and led tend to come off if you move it whilst hot! Waterproof are a lot better since silicone coat keeps them all on. Plus the fact that banggood delete bad reviews to boost sales! Same as tesco silently filters all bad reviews on products....

Take a good look at the strips, some RGB strips are true to their word: When you set it to "White" you get Red, Green and Blue colour lights.

pointless comment,
This deal is 5 metre LED strip and for the price it is a bargain. Not everyone needs IR remote and the RGB leds and the bad quality adapter 9 pounds from amazon which seems 3 times of the cost of this .

What would the other parts be that I would need?

I had two sets of the multi-colour waterproof 5m strips from eBay, and paid around £20 for each. On both sets the IR box went up in smoke within 1hr. I would be very careful if you purchase. Sorry OP, don't mean to put a downer on your deal but I genuinely believe these sets (at least the ones I got) could be a fire risk.
