Great deal from amazon France, spend over 100€ on DVD/BluRay and get a 50€ discount! Some great films available and yes, they all play in English! Works out at £36.75 for £73.50 worth of films! Don't forget to claim postage back if you have Prime :)

Not as good a deal as it first appears because Amazon France pricing is typically 30% to 50% more expensive than Amazon UK anyway. E.g. Blu-ray Mad Mad Fury Road UK £9.99 while France is £14.67, San Andreas UK £9.99 while France is also £14.67, Edge of Tomorrow UK £7.99 while France is £11. So still savings to be had if you buy €100 worth but add in postage and the sleeves/inserts being in French and this deal isn't for me.

Works out at £36.75 for £73.55 worth of films......would have sounded less sensationalist. Still a good deal though.

It's probably worth mentioning that you need to use promotional code 100EUR50 which is currently presenting me with 'Le code promotionnel que vous avez saisi ne peut pas être appliqué à votre achat.'
Quickly translated to : The promotional code you entered can not be applied to your purchase.
Also, as questioned above, delivery is €4.46.

it's only for certain products isn't it? Maybe that's why the code won't work? It won't work on all blurays and DVDs as I remember they had this deal a few months back too

The products I used were all from the promotional page and dispatched by Amazon totalling €107.92 plus the €4.46 postage. Equated in GBP to £85.84.

Plus the covers will all be foreign and you will have difficulty reselling them if you chose to in the future they won't be worth as much

Some great titles there - if you like Crime/thrillers, try e.g. 36 Quai des Orfevres, A bout portant

Great if you like French movies. Also if you load 100 Euros by EoD, you get an additional 5 Euros from Amazon.

Is there a direct link to customer service?
It seems you have to go through lots of pages to get to it?
Oh I see? You have to contact every Amazon country you have purchased from, can't do it through UK even though you have prime.

I have contacted Amazon Germany who said no not possible to refund postage. Amazon Italy referred my query to UK, im still waiting to hear from France, USA and Canada. Can anyone confirm they can refund postage? Thanks

I also noticed that some DVDs are better purchased in Coffrets or boxsets.

I had this too - one of the titles was not eligible for the code, so my total was less than 100 euros and the code would not work.
I replaced the offending title with another and bought 10x DVDs/Blurays for £46.50 / 60.87 euros.
The 100eur50 code needs to be entered at: 'Vos cheque-cadeaux et bons de reduction' nerve-wrackingly close to the end!
Great deal if you enjoy foreign films...

If you want English subtitles, look for: Sous-titres : Anglais under Détails sur le produit

Uk should sort it...... As its them you have prime with.

They have all said no and that they are all different parts of the amazon company and the prime service does not extend outside the UK. The UK amazon just said nothing they can do. Oh well, worth a try
