Just got back yesterday - wouldn't have gone if not for this deal being posted as we weren't actively looking for a holiday.
We all had an amazing time, thanks so much OP
Would highly recommend renting a car - we saw and did so much which we wouldn't have been able to do if we had to rely on taxis and metro

no restaurants open during Ramadan month in Dubai

That's quite true though, is it?
Plus, this is for a trip 4 months before the start of Ramadan so even if what you are saying is true it wouldn't really matter.

You've obviously not been to Dubai during Ramadan. Lots of restaurants open and easy to get a discrete drink.

no offence but cold from me. advertised price is inaccurate. a child is unlikely to pay their own way in an equal split so the above price should have been divided by two adults... £311pp is misleading

Am now travel advice expert but if I were you I would get an entertainer book or the app and max it out! Wild Wadi water park will save the cost of the book alone. If you get a book from eBay that's cheaper check what vouchers they have already used. I bought one once and the main tourist ones had been used...perfect for me as I got it cheaper and wanted the restaurant vouchers.
Book early to go up the Burj Khalifa for around sunset, think is about 100 dirhams to book in advanced verses 400 on the day and it's always sold out. After that an evening in the restaurants around the Burj would be perfect for the fountains... Search you tube for Dubai fountains... Amazing they are!
If you're willing to travel a little visit Abu Dhabi, the yas F1 track is open on a Tuesday from 6 until 9 for runners and cyclists... Loads go there to take photos of the starting grid and the Yas Hotel. Standard taxi would be about 50-60'pounds and about 45 mins drive from the Burj. The grand mosque is just huge and worth a photo or two and a tour... Have to dress conservative there and woman will have to put the abaya on.
Could also so a desert safari... Loads of them to chooses from and many will be in the entertainer too
If your stay includes a Friday find a Friday Brunch, all you can eat and drink for about 60 pounds per person from 12:30 until 4ish...it's how everyone spends their Friday's!
Hope that helps a little

Great destination but awful airline, used them a couple of years ago and never again. Flights got cancelled and left me stranded in Istanbul airport for 24 hours with no help or support whatsoever. Complained afterwards but was just ignored.

It's called the Entertainer book, can download the app or get the book.
Thousands of buy one get one free vouchers for loads of places.... Can see what places on the app before you buy the book. The vouchers run from 1st January unit 30th December. Only restrictions are on National Holidays.
As for restaurants being closed during Ramadan, have lived here for 5 years now and other than food courts in the malls most are open, just with the curtains closed. If you really want a Burger King or Maccy D's they will delivery to you door.
Some of the comments on here about the recent trips to the UAE are laughable. It's true if you are a drunken chav, a rapist or killer the UAE is probably not the best place to get your holiday fix, everyone else come on over... Today I will being going to the beach, this evening going for dinner on JBR at the Cheesecake Factory and maybe a few drinks after... Not many though, after all it is a work night!

I stayed near this hotel in Dec. gone. It's ok this hotel but 10 min walk to metro to get to the Bury Kalifa. The weather is nice this time of year and it is very safe. This hotel does not do free transfers to the beach unlike the Ibis at Deira. Ideal for a budget hotel. B 4 u go get BOGOF off ebay for all restaurants and waterparks etc

Nice hotel, really good price and deal. Pegasus are a highly rated airline. I stayed here in December and it was still called the Metropolitan Palace. It is handy for the Souks and some of the "older"attractions on the river, however it is quite a way from the Burj Khalifa.
Can we have less daft comments about Dubai? If it's not for you and you don't like their laws - don't go.
Hot from me.

£311 p/p with child included is just typical way to fool people into how great this deal is... Proper deal should show how much 2 adults will pay going alone

As of a month ago the hotel has been renamed or taken over (I'm not sure which) and is now known as the Carlson Palace hotel.
