I've ordered 2 HDD's when I opened my parcel one of them was missing. I got all photos while opening parcel but I feel sorry I did not make a video as a proof. Yes And my was ordered on 27.12 and came from Nederland.

i can appreciate that, but i did get an initial non-automated response from one of their customer support team to say the request had been made but that they couldn't guarantee it could be cancelled if the order had already been prepared for shipping.

I've got a number to call them but the last time i called one of these weird looking numbers, it ended up costing me a tenner ..

i requested an order cancellation as it turns out that the drive i ordered wasn't ideal for a Humax box, but it's proving near impossible to find out if it's confirmed as cancelled .. ggrrrrrr

​Actually, some sites based in other EU countries don't charge you VAT if you're UK VAT registered. Meaning you don't have to shell out and then claim the VAT back later. I'm guessing that's what the poster was getting at here.

Those of you complaining OOS, if you find the drive on amazon that you want and put the link into flubit you may have luck. I bought a WD red 6tb for less that the 30% discount (£161) on the WD website.

So, this had me fooled for a while. Hotdeals helpfully links another code at the bottom of the OP's post for £10 off a £100 purchase. I assumed that was the 10% code the OP meant and that does not stack. What you're looking for is the field on the WDStore front page about promotional offers. Then they'll email you your promo code, which does stack.

I ended up ordering the dl4001 NAS drive empty and 2 x 2tb red NAS drives, will do me for now to back my work stuff up to and will pick up some bigger drives later, the 20% off/10% off worked on the dl4001 as well, thought good buy for just under £400 all in

The red NAS drives are worth shelling out a bit more for. Got them in my Nas drive after the old ones from seagate died.

The 2tb ones are now oos, which is a shame..

Hi all just a heads I wanted the WD red 6tb and was showing OOS so I used flubit and got an even cheaper price - £161. The black unfortunately was still over £200. Prob worth trying for other drives too if showing OOS

both codes worked for me. got a 2tb red for £57, I'm sure I've seen them at this price somewhere before.. But still a reasonable price I think.

worked for me - picked up a 2TB WD Red for £57.59 which is around a tenner cheaper than everywhere else.

Going to put it in my Humax HDR1000S freesat box as I've read they can take 2TB's and a NAS drive should be ideal for high use
