never go here without a voucher! there is always a deal on, and without fries or extras included this deal is pretty average.
TBH their burgers are not as good as any other premium burger chain i have tried.
Even McDonalds is better!

Yeh likewise. Looks like the limp thing from the film falling down, like a hippo sat on it. Will try one day. Best burger I've had is my wife's homemade one with homemade patty, quality cheese, homegrown tomato, onion, homemade relish, bacon, home asked buns. Gorgeous, far better than handmade burger ones.

what a stupid comment. Steak tartare is totally different product yo a beef burger. It's a sliver of beef not a patty and yep I've eaten it. Please read up about food hygenine before making a fool of yourself. This has nothing to be with a fear of bacteria, this is common sense. Burgers are not made up of prime cuts of beef. Good luck with your food poisoning. For me beef burgers should be well done and proper steak is at least medium rare.

Well the French have been eating Steak Tartare for years without issue. So I'm not sure it has anything to do with pretentious idiots at all. Well done burgers taste rubbish compared to medium or medium rare burgers. Personally, I'd rather innoculate than avoid. All this modern day fear of bacteria is what's killing people's immune systems, Anti-bacterial soap, spray, this and that. There's a class action suit in the US right now over one of the ingredients commonly used in these anti-bacterial products. I'd rather a small dose of Listeria innocua which is what was found in the Byron burger in that TV programme - and is widely found in all food stuffs. It is harmless to other organisms.
So who's the idiot now?

disgusting burgers ate twice in 12 years both times rubbish , buy some fresh crusty rolls from your local baker make your patties brown them off in the pan nearly cooked heat a kettle up and put a bit of water in the pan to steam them with a lid on the pan , which will also melt the cheese on top.
for extra flavour break up a oxo cube in the mince when making the patties and a bit of ground pepper. tastiest burger ever trust me .

This used to be on Vouchercloud all the time, but they stopped it the last year or so, so this is better value than usual.
Best burger in London undoubtedly is now at Big Fernand that just opened near Tottenham Court Rd this year, absolutely gorgeous French premium beef smothered in melted raclette cheese, caramelised onions and tomato relish with chives. Cooked how you like it with crispy paprika/cajun fries and an Orangina or cloudy lemonade on the side..

7 Jan 161#54
no, because it's mince not a cut of steak. Cooking process kills bacteria which on a steak exist on the outside, which is why you can have rare steak. Mince or burger patty MUST be cooked thoroughly all the way through as the bacteria resides throughout the meat. It's pretentious idiot restaurants that think they are cool. Probably serve you a nitrous drink too, so if the burger doesn't make you ill the drink will

Lol milkshakes are the easiest thing ever to make. I have yet to find anywhere that makes better milkshakes than me. Banana milkshakes are a doodle to make and take less than a minute to make. I use two bananas, semi skimmed milk and sometimes I add a decent ice cream like Ben and Jerry's, Hagan daz but a decent plain vanilla is perfect

Never been charged for ketchup (although I often get their dips, but that's my choice - ketchup is on the table)
My ex was a store manager for GBK,can't fault them for the cleanliness of the kitchens & the preparation, the burgers taste great but not worth the money. This deal will be for a basic burger, will cost another £3-£4 per burger to jazz it up a bit, that's without fries or drink.

Bare in mind if you want certain burgers it's £3 or more per burger added to the bill. With chips and drinks worked out at £13-14 per person when I went in. Not as good a deal as first indicated and definitely not worth the price.

thanks op! have some heat this is a real treat
jans
6 Jan 161#27
The mere fact that it's minced at all is the issue. For instance, the bacteria that causes food poisoning lives on the surface of the meat like steak so that when a steak is seared the bacteria on the outside is killed off with the heat. Mincing it just spreads the bacteria through all of the meat. So if you order or are given rare/medium rare burger which obviously hasn't been cooked thoroughly enough right through to the centre that is when you run a considerable risk of developing food poisoning because the heat hasn't been able to kill off the bacteria from the uncooked meat.

Five Guys in The O2 or Patty&Bun in Liverpool Street (both in London) if you look for good burgers.
Compared to, say, McD or BK nuclear waste, GBK is passable if with proper addons.... but compared with proper burgers? It's not even the same category of organic matter. It's completely different universe of taste.

They charge quite a lot if you want one of their fancy sauces added to your burger, but regular ketchup is free (depending on the GBK, either a squeezy plastic tomato on the table, or you ask and they bring you a plastic pot full of ketchup).
