I know what you mean... Very confusing indeed
I have both the Professional and Original at home.
Where the Red lettering says fairy, in the soap bubble, it will say Original or Professional.
I have a bottle at home which looks the same as the one in the image above, and it's a thicker consistency, ingredients are different too!
I went in-store today, and they are selling Fairy Professional, just like B&M was.

bought this for our tearoom and yes it's watered down and doesn't last nearly as long as the original fairy liquid.
not worth the money I'm afraid.

I REALLY don't understand last week everyone was slagging this stuff off saying it was watered down or am I going mad ???

The Fairy Professional appears watered down as opposed to the Fairy Original, there is a difference in the way these two variants are manufactured.
Original = 15-30% anionic suractants, 5-15% non ionic suractants
Professional = 5-15% anionic suractants, <5% non ionic suractants
Is this an accurate product image, if so then this is the good stuff.

Some countries require different standards for their products (environmental considerations), The Fairy Professional looks watered down, but I am unaware if this affects it's performance.
Someone needs to do a like for like test based on performance.

You would being 'Professional' it might be more concentrated but it isn't. Used one a month ago and just didn't last that long. I have switched to a supermarket own brand one.
