Love a bit of ribeye!
Nice sized steaks at a really decent price at the moment, the code whips £3.95 off the delivery price too, making it even better.
The fillet steaks work out at good value too, at about £4.20 per steak / £21.11 per KG - Normally around £30-£35 per kg at the moment, depending on which ones you go for (matured/basic ect...)
Depends what you like really, there are a few offers on site at the moment.
Sirloin works out at £29 for 10 8-9oz steaks as well.

A latest study from Oxford University says that one in ten deaths are caused by red meat.
Which is very scary........................................
Because it means that nine out of ten people are killed by vegetables.

They give you an approximation of the weight per steak, as each steak will be different. You could end up with more than what you paid for, to illustrate we ordered a rib eye roast from Campbell's online and paid the per/kg price for a 3.5kg joint and the one which turned up with nearly 4kg.

They were extremely fatty throughout. My husband asked me not to buy from them ever again. Every steak was the same. Maybe I was just unlucky, hence why I am not voting. Even the fillet was fatty.

If they were ribeye, then they're supposed to have a sizable amount of fat in them. Same can go for sirloin depending on what part of the sirloin it came from.
Personally I don't mind, fat = flavour.

Alternatively:
10 x 7-8oz 28 Day Matured Fillet Steaks for £43 delivered (works out at £4.30 per steak or £20.22/kg, assuming 7.5oz per steak)
or
20 x 7-8oz Matured British Fillet Steaks for £73 delivered (works out at £3.65 per steak or £17.17/kg, assuming 7.5oz per steak)
Both using code STEAK1D for £1 delivery.
Quidco or TCB will knock that down a bit too.

I bought some rump steak and have had two of them so far, first one although it was generally nice steak it had a line of grisel running through it which kinda spoiled the experience some... Second piece was much better, had a bit of grisly fat around the edge but that was okay as it was easy to trim off. Seems nice and tender for the most part but it ain't perfect, better than some supermarkets and about the same as others. Mine was definitely cheaper than any supermarket at the time so I am happy with it.

14 Jan 162#37
They aren't priced on the web site by the lb/kg. Yeah, easyish to work out but you have to ask why they don't publish it as a matter of course... They're not the only ones guilty of this, Muscle Foods, Farmisons etc all price by a product as opposed to by the kg.
High street butchers and supermarkets must, by law, display the price per kg for almost all fresh meat and poultry - it makes it easier for the consumer to compare prices. Its a deliberate marketing policy by the online retailers not to show the £/kg price, they know folks will then see a lot of their stuff is expensive/overpriced.
There are bargains to be had online, no doubt about that, but often you have to be careful that your "bargain" doesn't end up costing more then the equivalent quality from your local butcher.

I use these regularly. Never had a bad steak and have tried a fair few. The steaks are in packs of two. The ones I have had are all around 15mm thick ish. I also buy the chicken breast fillets. You can get these for 5kg for £20 when on offer and there is none of that supermarket water and rubbish in them. Give them a try.

For their Irish grass-fed sirloin:
10 x 8oz @ £28 = £2.80 per 8oz steak
8oz = 0.5lb giving £5.60/lb or ~ £12.32/kg
Which supermarkets sell grass-fed sirloin for £12.32/kg?

Frozen 100% Chicken is currently £4.28p/kg at Tesco, and likely about the same at other supermarkets, and you don't need to pay £5-£10 for delivery.
All this highlights is that the ridiculous non-offer price of £40 for 5kg!

How is the frozen chicken tasted like comparing to fresh one?
N1AK
14 Jan 16#49
I use frozen chicken and can't say I've had any issue with the quality. However, I was pretty much assuming that anyone buying chicken in 5kg+ packs is freezing a decent amount of it at home. If you like fresh chicken, eat 5kg+ fast enough that you have no need to freeze, and want it when it's on offer then this would be a decent price even accounting for delivery charges.

This is the same company as Musclefood. Same foods, different label. I find their meats very good quality, bar the odd rump steak I've had. The convenience of fresh delivery is great, saves a trip to the butchers even though the prices are comparable (bar the discounted deals).
