no where on that deal does it mention the words yoshi or yarn so it has not already been posted

Hermes was their usual terrible selves delivering (Box was smashed in and one side soaked) but thankfully my two yarns were perfectly safe and came incredibly fast. It's a bit of a risk dealing with them but there has never been an option to get the yarns as cheap as this prior

Oh Hermes- no thanks. Ordered somethign that was to be delivered by them last week. They went to the wrong door 3 times at 8 in the morning on weekdays with no option for us to arrange redelivery when it we will be in (we were in though). It was even in a delivery note that they ignored! Told their customer support who said he couldn't change the delivery details because their contract wasn't with us.
Waste of time as they went to wrong house 3 times then returned items to retailer....Idiot delivery men, idiot customer support, stupid practices.

Does OP mean two for £18? Twenty-four £18 doesn't make any sense.

OP was too lazy to write 'Two for £18'.

Smyths has been selling them for £10.99 each for ages. They were selling for £25-30 each on FeeBay when they first came out but there was stock-supply-and-demand issues. Still don't seem to be overly widely available other than Smyths and the odd other retailer. So a £7.01 saving on buying 2 is pretty good, most people are going to want the set. And this close to Xmas they will get snapped up quick. Am also surprised Nintendo UK is selling them at £13.99 each on their website.
The giant mega Yoshi Yarn amiibo is really over priced at around £35. Amazon will be selling that for £20 in the New Year.

Eh, they're selling yarn Yoshi amiibos for £10.99? Decent price but the one I'd really want is the Giant Yarn Yoshi. Not gonna pay £30+ for a damn plush toy, obviously.

Yes, at least in store at Smyths, Edinburgh, Fort Kinnaird retail park they have had them in plenty stock for a couple of months. Maybe not all stores though I guess?

Nah, the Wii U controller and the new 3DS XL both have NFC built in, so you're good to go with them  I think you need an adapter for an older 3DS/2DS models though

It's about £15 for the 3DS adapter. Not widely available but 1 or 2 sites have it and no doubt ebay/amazon sellers.
Some parents may prefer the adapter, as you can imagine how many 3DS screens will get broken with kids roughly plonking the Amiibos on.
