Got excited when I saw the mitre saw in the picture with £8.93 next to it until I read on and it wasn't

I had a nice message on my answerphone from my local Homebase store. Although they had stock and took my online order for collection apparently now suddenly they have no stock. Probably the staff had them. They suggested I order again from another store and travel there to collect them. This has happened to me before with Homebase - I will stick to eBay, Amazon, Screwfix in the future. Should have learnt my lesson last time.

Yup, common with homebase their stock control is terrible, or as you suggest..........

The picture in the post should also reflect the price stated in the post.
Other than that good find

the prices aren't really that good even on sale, they are very, very basic bottom range items if you plan on using them a lot prepare to be disappointed

Bought the mitre saw about four years ago for 26.00 using nectar points only. Bargain and better than expected as I thought would be garbage. Fine for the odd diy job a year

Wouldn't bother with screwdriver all other items not bad but a cheap 3.6v screwdriver will be no good

Cheaper in the long run to buy decent branded tools, buy cheap, buy twice.

xtreme and challenge(Argos) are the same very low quality.
The branding, I assume, is applied to various manufacturers, so one item can be OK the next: Smoke from sander after 20 mins.....the lightest diy maybe. Use once a year. Keep the receipt handy. Otherwise avoid.
