Absolutely have to agree with this Halo 5 is £25 for a physical copy in Game that you can then sell on, MS prices even in a sale are often poor compared to retail stores, where after the first two months games get heavily discounted. to clear stock.

Probably been mentioned, but you're cheaper buying Dragon Age GOTY than you are buying all the dlc. If you haven't got the deluxe version you also get that too. Costs £22. I now have two copies of the game and doesn't require you to install the game again. Basically got the deluxe content and all premium dlc for a lot cheaper than i would have buying it separate.

Its just a form of entertainment, its not an investment. If I buy it, I treat it as disposable. Its gone.
I prefer digital, as I don't want discs (or swap them). Not sure why people struggle with this simple principle :smiley: Many of us are adults and don't need to share a disk to get what we see as enough value to justify the cost. (not havin' a pop at you, just gets boring that every other game thread for a digital deal has drongos whining on about physical. In the same way a new car thread has wallies calling people idiots for buying new, when you can buy second hand. )

I personally prefer to have a tangible item in hand. Although that preference is slowly dying, I still buy physical when it makes sense financially to do so. These days, especially with game sharing, this benefit isn't really all that applicable though.
Having recently bought GH:L and Fallout on Disc, I am struggling to bring myself to change discs all the time.... First world problems I know :laughing:

For me , it depends on what it's for. If I'm playing purely for the achievements then unless it's under a fiver digitally then it's disc so I can sell it on. If it's for my son then I prefer digital so he can't wreck the discs. If it's a game I will play for a long time then I prefer digital so I'm not arsing around changing discs. I don't want hundreds of Xbox/Wii/PSP/DS cases stacked on bookshelves in the living room but on the other hand I don't want to pay through the nose for digital as it just encourages MS etc to carry on trying to rip us off.

Is anyone still able to purchase from overseas stores? I got a PBR9002 error on my Canadian account now and my US account gives a different error which unfortunately, I can't remember. I used VPN, I've even tried different VPN providers.

Those errors are usually caused by there a mis match between your account region and the region your actually buying from (located in), though this is again usually only when using your actual bank account or paypal, it shouldnt affect credited funds.

I bought Black Ops III from Tesco with a clubcard deal for £22 in vouchers.
I'll sell it now on eBay for £33, so effectively made a profit of £11 on that.
With this deal I just bought the Black Ops III Digital Deluxe for £63.99, a total spend of £53.
So for £53 I get a copy of Black Ops III with the Season pass that is usable on 2 separate Xbox One's. And no disc juggling.
Even at £63.99 if you game share it's a deal.

I'm not a prepubescent teenager, so I can afford to buy a game and not rely on resale value or my mum and dad.
Its just a form of entertainment, its not an investment. If I buy it, I treat it as disposable. Its gone.
I prefer digital, as I don't want discs (or swap them). Not sure why people struggle with this simple principle :smiley: Many of us are adults and don't need to share a disk to get what we see as enough value to justify the cost. (not havin' a pop at you, just gets boring that every other game thread for a digital deal has drongos whining on about physical. In the same way a new car thread has wallies calling people idiots for buying new, when you can buy second hand. )

The how to is in the OP's post right at the start, it's not dead simple but it's worth it if you intend to make a lot of digital purchases.
Having recently bought GH:L and Fallout on Disc, I am struggling to bring myself to change discs all the time.... First world problems I know :laughing:
I'm definitely getting less games on disc nowadays and Steam has put the end disc pc gaming as well.
