OK, so looked at the Game offer (Wild Run Edition) for £20 as my son wants it for Xmas, but then thought I'd have a quick scan across the other regions to see if there was a better price digitally, and indeed there was.
Currently on the US Market place you can buy The Crew Complete Edition for $19.99 (£13.32 GBP). Compare this to the current cheapest offer from Game of £19.99 for the Wild Run edition, however that doesn't include the season pass which is currently another £19.99 on top.
It takes a little work, but this way doesn't need a vpn.
Easiest way is to create an amazon.com US account, use your name and any American address. Sign up for a free revolut virtual credit card on your smartphone and top up £14. Using this card buy a $20 xbox gift voucher from amazon.com using your American account (make sure it's a downloadable one so you get the code immediately). Go to xbox.com, sign in, then switch region at bottom of page to USA. Redeem your code for your $20 you just got from Amazon.com and purchase the game. Easy and enjoy!

Good to know, this some cards get blocked, some don't. I know revolut works so use that if your own card doesn't.

I just used PayPal to buy a card from here and it worked fine.
They only sell $25's though so you will end up with money left over. They are a great website though, no doubt about that.

I'd get in quickly, this is going to be a pricing mistake for sure. Next best price after that worldwide is £30.

Still up at $20. They are being slow about correcting it if it is a mistake. Just can't decide whether to buy or not. Like the idea of cruising on a bike across America.

This is definitely a misprice since it costs $60 on the US PlayStation Store.
Doesn't need a vpn but it's still too much hassle for this game!

So I don't need a fake US xbox account then, I can just use my actual gamertag and just switch regions via xbox.com? What happens to the $5 left over?

Awesome deal.
Goddamnit, I'm having no luck with this game. I bought it from the Columbian store last week for £32. Bought the physical Wild Run edition as a gift from GAME for 25 on Black Friday, now they've dropped it to £20 today and won't refund me the difference (don't even have the game yet) :disappointed: Fiver lost on that, and £20 odd lost on this undoes a lot of my deal hunting savings recently.

Yeah thanks, I followed a guide and used an Oregon address/phone. Now I can delete the game off my ps4 and free up some much needed space. Shame it cannot transfer saves between ps4/xbox even though it is all saved on ubisoft servers.

You can't transfer saves but if you redeemed any UPlay rewards then those are cross platform.

The Crew was one of worst racing game I'd played when it was launched.
Took a chance on the wild run expansion (got it at a bargain price) and now I would say they've totally redeemed themselves. It's fantastic. Really impressed with the motorcycles in it too.

When on the US Xbox web page (on PC/MAC etc) go to
'Xbox Live' and then choose 'Redeem Code'. (https://account.xbox.com/en-US/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?xr=shellnav) Enter the code and the credit is immediately available to spend

30 Nov 15#42
Well if you can fford it then order another one and return the first I guess. Totally stupid. Don't they understand how much time, money and effort it saves to just refund the difference? Wasting your time and theirs. Assuming you can return to store? If not, then it's just a total faff and not worth it.

No need for VPN or such things. My process was
1. Buy $20 Xbox card from Amazon.com by setting my manage profile location to US in my Amazon account. Setting the address to some random place in Oregon for no sales tax.
2. Purchased using my uk credit card with Oregon billing address.
3. Code showed immediately on the confirmation screen.
4. Went to Xbox.com and click On redeem code once I logged in. Top right corner where you see your gamertag pic.
5. Paste code from Amazon. Redeem.
6. Navigate to The crew bundle and make sure region in bottom left is set to USA.
7. Hit buy for Xbox one and it will recognize your $20 credit.
8. Purchase. Done.

Take it back to a high street store, assuming you have one near, unopened of course, with your online receipt.
They have a 28 days refund policy, currently extended to Jan 31st.
I know this works because I took an xbone console deal back the other day and was refunded exactly what i paid for it, seals on boxes intact.
