Because 1tb+1tb external hard drive = 2tb of space whereas 1tb+500gb external hard drive = 1.5tb of space, maybe?
Also the 1tb edition comes with the controller that works with any headset without the need for a £20 adapter.

Depends on what you want to do with it. I've got 39 games and 20 apps installed on my 500gb model plus a load of recorded games and I've still got 129gb free.

The £50 HDD I was referring to was 2TB, so 2.5TB in total.
Also, buy the £30 TB XO One headset for an excellent adapter, whichever controller you have.
In my opinion, having the old controller with the Turtle Beach adapter is an advantage.

I always played with PS (PS2/PS3). I'm waiting for Tomorrow to buy a PS4. Can someone convince me why I would be better off buying an XBox One instead? Is it better than the PS4?
