DVD or bluray? Either way, they botched the aspect ratio change to widescreen, with some awful cropping evident from numerous reviews. Picture quality looks great, but not much point if the overall image is messed up in places.

Network DVD have just announced that they will be releasing a new version of this next year which will presumably be in the correct AR and hopefully on Blu-ray as well so expect price drops on this set. This is still a very good price despite the flaws.

I'm pretty glad I bought the non-restored DVD edition; they have done a terrible job at cropping the top and bottom off the picture to make the series into Widescreen. Especially where people are being interviewed and they've panned the image upwards to make their name visible, but then cut half of their face off.
