I guess he/she think it is much better value to pay (e.g.) £35 for hard copy and sell for £5-10 when you're done with game, honestly some folk....

It's great having a story but for me everything from travelling to combat annoyed me. Most fights involved me circling opponents slicing them every now and then. As for travelling, wow, stuck on rocks and clunky movement. I bought this day one and haven't played since all the updates but I might give another go.

Physical copies cost less, and have trade in value?

can also break, will lose a lot of value very quickly and will have contributed to any future optical drive failure
also if you share your games with gold with the missus, family member, flat mate, friends etc you can effectively halve the digital prices you see quoted on these sales

Two things:
It's been almost unanimously elected as game of the year.
Very few missions in this game are fetch quests, especially compared with most RPG's.
I'm a big fan of Fallout and Elder Scrolls and the Baron quest line in this game was better than anything that Bethesda have ever come up with and that wasn't even part of the main story.

you can't say nope, he's entitled to his opinion! I agree with him. this game wasn't for me. lovely environments but I got bored very quick. I would nearly slit my wrists than have to sit and watch another cutscene with geralt speaking to someone and having to go off and do a fetch mission for them to give me the info I need. sold this earlier this week as I had no intentions to play the expansion or the next installment due out next year

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up Peggle 2 Magical Masters Edition little cheaper on the Canadian store (£2.91).
