This size of crate with lid usually costs around £10 to £14. I thought this was an excellent price, particularly for this time of year. It would be ideal for a large collection of lego, or wargaming accessories, or... anything really!

what a great timing? we are in the middle of a house move and I have been looking for these boxes specifically. The cheapest I could find was two for £14 at B&M stores but this deal is obviously better...and 4% quidco too ..ordered and voted hot

Aldi have 80 litre boxes from this Sunday, for £6. Maybe handy if you don't have a Wilko near you.

OK for lightweight storage but this kind of box isn't up to rough daily use (as suggested in the OP's comments). For that you need to splash out on some considerably more expensive 'Really Useful Boxes' - cheaper in the long run.

As you said it is for storage so I cant see why you need to use daily...Surly if you need to use something daily, you will not put it in storage !!

An obvious example where these might be used daily is kids toys.
Personally if you want a box that'll last, I'd look at second hand ones that were previously rented out for office moves an so on.
A few years ago I got a load for around a fiver each if I remember - they've coped fine with being used to carry things like a complete 900cc motorcycle engine, so massively tougher than this sort of offering.

I take your point on kids toys...for me I need to store items in the garage and these boxes will be absolutely fine for that
