Thanks for the advice, but the machine itself is pretty stable, it's just the drum inside that jumps around like nobody's business if the contents aren't perfectly evenly distributed.

I thought it might be the springs, but I had another Beko before which broke down (speed sensor died, under warranty) and that did the same thing. I think they're just not very well designed/built.

I think you mean level the machine and ensure it is on all 4 feet.

My advice for anyone stuck with using a Beko: really baby it...stick to the weight advised in the manual for the cycle (no more and no less either) and always balance your loads perfectly, every piece of clothing should have a matching one of the same weight and type.

Like the poster above mine shakes uncontrollably and vibrates the whole house if I so much as put a bath towel in with my regular wash.

My advice for anyone not stuck with a Beko: don't buy one if you can afford not to. Voted hot purely for the competitive pricing.

Haier is a good brand for reliability now and the price and guarantee are good. I have one

There are a few other larger capacity models in the <£200 range some are more efficient for not a lot more than this and the bigger capaciry may come in handy.

Check the transport clamps have been removed often the cause of excesive vibration

Have a beko washing machine and not please - it was cheap but it's started to make a noise like it's going to explode, I haven't owned it for long. Typical turkish craftsmanship, try for another brand!
