Likewise, I have one that stopped working properly after about a year and my mum had the same problem. Vax didn't want to know when we complained.

Had this, it is really heavy and the attachments are cheap and nasty and fly off. I nearly got scalded twice before I sent it back. Usually sells for around £60-70 also. Get the S2S+ instead, does a much better job and easier to use and fill up

They come with 2 year guarantee, are you saying vax refused to do anything about the faulty stuff? They are legally obliged to honour the guarantee.

Unfortunately and annoyingly we couldn't find the receipts for either of the steam cleaners. According to Vax's system the steam cleaners were over 2 years old, thus wouldn't help us out. Lesson learnt.

You don't need receipts, you should have just registered online using the reference number on the back of the machine as soon as you received the item. I've been helped by Vax even out of warranty.

No idea ( i don't even know how to expire my own listings....lol... i press the expire button and nothing happens and i can't find anything about it anywhere :neutral_face: )
With this one im not sure whether a new listing has to be made because todays 'deal of the day' cant have been found 3 days ago if that makes sense... thats why i deleted my comment because i thought i might be confusing everything... :laughing:

I could argue that it's Amazon, it's deal of the day and it's the same price so the same thread should be opened. Given this was posted earlier so it won't be on the first pages anywhere, but suppose the tags etc should make it easily visible. The expire and report buttons sometimes work straight away sometimes they don't, I am still working on understanding how they work :d

Either ways seems all the noise we made got noticed and this has been unexpired -:smiley: so hopefully it helps someone

It was an Xbox and i have still haven't been contacted about it yet .... still waiting. I think i saw somewhere it can take up to 60 days to be received as well.
Besides its my husband who is the gamer (i was only playing to try and win him a PS4) so i think he will be snaffling it away for his own needs :smirk:
