You are right but they do have "genuine" stuff too.They frequently have stock from my favourite perfume house at about 1/3rd of the normal price.

Yes, its misleading, but it sounds like you've seen through the scam.
They sell budget lines and QC failures, they don't ever sell (and have never sold) top of the range designer gear

well only buy brands you have heard of, or styles you like and forget the brand name. simples.

Depends which way you see it. You could argue that such garments are of equal quality to the "branded" items, and it is the brands that are ripping us off in the first place.

Ignore the label, take the garment at face value - if you like it, buy it.

I'd love to stick to this rule, but of course, I do anything but!

Then why not buy the brands that you recognise only?

I wish you watched the show and retained the information they where found to be selling own brand goods with a RRP attached that is against the law. However RRP from a branded product either comes from a manufacture or people selling at that price all products found where genuine products as well it was the second half of the show on about outlets that sold seconds. Tk maxx sell seconds but state on the products they are (port marion plates a good example)

Sure they sell Ralph Lauren, tommy hilfiger but they are not only past season I have seen goods around 3years old which I bought from official outlet stores. Which usually outlet would sell past season/seconds and after putting them on clearances etc all unsold leftover are damped at our favorite TK maxx. Of course they are cheaper then fresh stock.
They are good value for someone wanting to just wear these brands and judging but TK maxx growth there are quite a few.

You will never see the tkmxx gear in a real Ralph Lauren store though, it's made for budget shops and outlets
