Ladies and gentlemen....welcome to the annual/ regular Clarks overhyped sale.
here you will find no bargains, instead - you will be offered a good discount on shoes you've never seen stocked by Clarks - shoes were digging out of our warehouse from our best friends deichmann.

The good old 'up to' 50% off, so basically everything at the price it has been in the sales anyway and the odd rare thing at 50%.

I think they are on final reductions already. Always the way with clothing sales. Start before Christmas to get shoppers in. Who buys full price shoes before Christmas? Need to pop in to Clarks. My shoes never seem to last more than 6-12 months. I can understand why the ladies need so many pairs.
if you sure so, why not to buy and use now, when the xmas sale comes > buy the same pair > swap the new pair to the old box > return the former order and get refund

Just bought a pair half price and then realised they aren't leather!
Just assumed being Clarks they would be, can't cancel so will need to return when they arrive.

You are incorrect although quite what it has to do with you is beyond me? - Is it illegal to have ones own opinion about Clarkes and their sales re Kids school shoes?

You cant beat Clarks as soon as I get a new pair I give them a good soak in Leather cream (thin milky liquid, get it from LIDL Great for shoes handbags leather Suites etc) and stick them away untill I need them (3 boxes currently in wardrobe all bought in sales) then when I do get a new pair out I give them a coat of Meltonian Black Leather Cream.
2 pairs of Clarks does me for about 5 Years, alternate them to let them dry out (sweat etc) Bloomin Cracking shoes.
Quality leather and a sole that lasts (there a pun there).

Well my mum used to buy from there when I was a kid. I used to go through all types of terrain - she used to change it after a year as my feet grew but it was still in good nick - the shoes so it got donated to charity.

Next to that you'd probably notice the fact you can take your knackered shoes in within 12 months and get them replaced for free. Had to do it for a pair of brogues three times over the last 3-4 years...should they have last longer? Maybe, but at least Clarks did something about it without any hassle so fair play to them.

Not a fan of the Clarks sales, but in fairness every (girls) shoe that I'm looking at has 50% off apart from the odd few that have 55% off.

Are the RRP prices a true and fair reflection or grossly inflated? For example, bedroom slippers which initially cost £17 seems a bit high.

There seems to be very few new deals in the sale that weren't already on sale yesterday. The ones that have gone on sale are terrible items no one would buy.
I'm glad I went ahead and bought the pair I was looking at last night because not only did the price not move in this sale the amount of Quidco cashback available has almost halved.

Damage shoes at 50% off previously inflated prices, that's what I found in store, no thank you, no deal here. Clarkes are just trying to get shot of old stock, fair enough, but £130 for boots that were overpriced at £185.00 and looked like they'd been worn and scuffed, wouldn't spend £130 on used shoes!

I was just looking on their site to see if they had any deals for the Black Friday weekend. All I can see is a 20% discount that doesn't apply to shoes already on sale so my urge to buy reduced. I come on here and see this, so it will be interesting to see if the pair of shoes I'm looking at are reduced any further tomorrow. They're already showing 35% off on them.
