I had this phone for about a month before returning it (for about £112 with a halloween promo code on Amazon), heres a mini review:
Pros:
- Great 1080p screen
- Sd card slot (woop)
- ran most things smoothly, very few crashes
- software was almost vanilla android which was nice, and snappy
- Light, but felt well made with the metal back
- battery life was not bad at all
Cons:
- Big gripe #1: Absolutely awful camera. I genuinely think my iPhone 3GS took better photos. Its extrapolated to the higher MP count, but only in bright light does it take photos which look ok. Also really quite a lot of lag. I tried various apps on various settings but eventually gave up. So if you're looking for a decent camera I'd probably recommend staying away
- Big gripe #2: The audio. It pops when you change tracks, and crackles at anything above 2 notches on the volume control. Initially thought it was fine as I could (almost) live with the torture for the pros. Then I tried playing games with headphones in, and it popped almost constantly due to shifting background music and also sound effects. Now I think if you use rootjoy or whatever and go to a more recent firmware it 'might' solve this according to some forums... But I decided that it probably wouldn't last me the usual 1.5-2 years I expect to use a phone for.
- Already stated I felt it was fast, but if you're expecting incredible specs on paper then the processor on this and GPU are the same I believe as some of the cheaper Cubot etc phones. Now I should stress this didn't affect my experience at all, but it depends if this sort of thing bothers you. It does have 3gb of RAM though..!
- It's quite hard to find accesories for it online; found a cheapish (4 quid) tempered glass screen protector and a very generic clip on case, but other than its mostly these weird cases which stick onto the back (which might be great, but no reviews I can see)
- it doesn't have the 4G band for O2
- Think it dropped signal a few times during calls, but attributed that to O2 coverage
TL:DR version: it runs well and looks great, but has an fairly bad camera and audio issues and no 4G for O2 users. Depends on what you prioritise when it comes to phones.

Yeah, what's with this new trend?, most of the latest Chinese phones are doing this when back in the day they had 3 dedicated slots on even the cheapest models. I guess it's just to cut corners and cost. As pretty much everyone will use an SD card it basically makes having a 2nd SIM slot redundant. Having 2 SIM's is a great feature especially when abroad, why oh why did they have to go and ruin it!

Sadly another nice phone totally spoilt by the micro sd card "sharing" the same hole as the second sim, so you either have sd OR dual sim but not both :\
I'm also not entirely sure by the "you have to send the phone to china after 45 days" as no you bloody don't. you whine at amazon :P
EDIT :- You may also want to read the reviews before dipping in on this one

ordered the pro for 140 quid, dont see all the fuss about not having dual sim though pretty much done without 2 sims for the past 20 years :-)
And that's why you should only read Amazon reviews that accompany a verified purchase.

problem with Amazon reviews (for products like this) are that it's so skewed in favour due to the number of reviews that are by people who got given the product for free for an 'unbiased' review...

i don't know if it's the same but cubot h1 uses two sim in the same slot they sit upside down from each other so you can use two sims and a memory card
Seems a dumb question, but would this be a great upgrade for a Google Nexus 4?????
Need to give that to my mum and I get the replacement....

I personally wouldn't touch a China phone unless it's the latest from Meizu, Xiaomi or Huawei.
Anything with a Helios X10 Soc with 3GB RAM is decent from Meizu, Xiaomi ... They're priced quite well.

Had one for two weeks before sending back and getting LG G3. This is a blisteringly fast phone when using the UI, loading apps, etc. Way faster feeling than my G3. Handled games well too. The screen is fantastic. Crystal clear and very bright. Battery life is great. I was getting over 6 hours screen on time at around 50% brightness.
However, camera was rubbish. Would not focus clearly on anything more than around 5m away. Internal speaker was poor and while the sound through the headphones was absolutely stunning due to the Texas instruments dedicated hi-fi board, there was an annoying pop every time sound started. This can be overcome by Bluetooth headphones.
If you don't use the camera or listen through headphones, this is a great phone. Amazing value, but I wanted a decent camera and sound.

Amazon deal with all customer service related issues for 'fulfilled by' products.
I have this phone (writing this message on it). It's very good in a lot of ways, especially for the price. Notably it's well-built, the display is really nice and it generally performs pretty well. Just lots of little software niggles and some unfortunate hardware drawbacks that drag it down and remind you that this isn't a premium device.
It's made me really miss my smashed OnePlus One but has also been a better than expected stop-gap phone until contract upgrade time.
