Seems a reasonable price (Amazon are £22.99) for a 'gaming' keyboard.
3 colour LED illumination with adjustable brightness
Full size layout with durable design
Up to 6 simultaneous key pressings
Software for programming keys
8 direct access media keys
This can be got from Amazon for £16.00. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00J2U3D7G
Sumvision LED keyboard is the same keyboard.

This is a good deal if you are on a budget.
PC world are doing the ROCCAT Arvo Compact Gaming Keyboard £19.99 in their clearance, a bit more but if space is tight it's an excellent alternative, well made and gets good reviews. Plenty in stock for collection which could be handy for last minute shoppers.
Looks like it uses the same oem as the zalman keyboard I've had before so will be decent for the money. Heat

Be careful of this. The black rubs of the keys after a month of heavy gaming use. My AS & W are all but bald now.

I bought something similar for my son and the keys are really only readable if you are directly above them or the room is pitch black. Check the reviews first. I think mine was a zalman

can they stop calling non mechanical keyboards "gaming"
or do they stuff LED's into keyboards and just stick the "gaming" tag on and expect it to sell?

It isn't about mechanical. As long as there is anti-ghosting - it qualifies as a "gaming" keyboard.... which sadly, this keyboard doesn't have.
