Smooth, detailed Full HD 1080p recording @ 30fps
160 viewing angle gives an extra wide perspective of on-road events
Bright 2.4-inch colour LCD screen for live view and video playback
7 Glass lenses for ultra sharp picture
Motion G-Sensor detects impacts and automatically protects current recording
Seems like a good deal, as they are selling for more on ebay.
Obviously use your own card, Halifax clarity or Aqua.

There's no issue with using a suction mount whatsoever. The Transcend suction mount is tiny and if you mount it in the right place you're sorted.
The quality of this cam isn't actually as great as everyone makes out. Quite often number plates are illegible until you're right up-close to a vehicle and even then it's not clear.

I can also confirm it works fine with an external USB lithium battery pack ...which makes it completely portable.
I tried an unbranded mini 2600mah and my Anker E5 15000 mah both worked fine.
Just use a standard USB Type B Cable (not micro Type B)
Use this :

I can confirm a 128Gb Samsung Evo Micro SDXC works fine in the Drivepro 200 .....as long as you use this Windows Tool to format it to FAT32 .....
I have been using the 520 version with the additional suction cup, mounted behind my rear view mirror. So far it has recorded a driver coming the other way on my side of the road (as the video clearly demonstrates) who took off my wing mirror, a tipper truck who nearly ploughed into me at a roundabout and an idiot in the car in front whose passenger was aiming a laser penlight into oncoming drivers eyes. I've done nothing with the videos, but at least I had clear evidence had anything bad happened. It would have saved my mate 3 years of grief over a crash for cash incident he was a victim of.
I used to take it out of the window when parked up however on xmas eve my car was hit by someone who then legged it. Such a shame I didn't have it recording then, I'll not make that mistake again. I'll also wager that left in a window, most people won't nick it as you can never be too sure if it is the only one in the car or if it is saving the video elsewhere etc.
I believe that one day most cars will be fitted with these, just hopefully without big brother watching on...

The quality is fine in the actual videos. My car has a really curved windscreen so the reflections are w problem too. Really can't fault the dashcam!

Does this have a suction mount included?
My spanish is not good but it seems to offer it as an add-on item with extra charge???

The suction pad is an optional extra, these come with a permanent pad adhesive clip.

Thanks, buddy. I simply must have a bad one because you said so, twice!
Blown-out images you say? Hmmm, sounds like a duffer to me.

And as I have already said twice then you must have a duffer! The image from both Transcend cams I've had/have are slightly over bright to me but VERY sharp.
Oh and Auto Express seems to like em too, its just won best overall Dash cam for the 2nd year running....
As a few others have said a brilliant little camera with really good picture quality, the only thing I'll point out ( as it was a deal breaker for me when I was looking for a dash cam ) is that due to this cameras mounting cup it's very obvious in your windscreen and could be a target for thefts and don't think you'll just hide it then attach it everyday because you soon won't bother. I got " the wedgie" dash cam as due to its design sits flush against the screen and can be hidden very easily.

Nah I'm just comparing a clear HD image to a not-so-clear HD image. My phone produces better images IMO.

I've had dashcams well before dashcams were popular, atleast 7-8 years. In the past, I had my dashcam pointed out with a large sign. No break ins for 2 years. I removed the sign. Car was broken into with 1 month. What are the chances?
The camera wasn't targeted, the onboard carcomputer was :-/

Ahhh my bad, you're trying to compare a very good £100 camera to a £30,000 one?

So you're obviously an expert in the field. I do apologise.
The images are ok... nothing to shout about. I could compare to the HD images I am used to seeing at TV production studios, but I'm sure your camera is on a par with them so I obviously have a dud.

Why say "rubbish"?
The quality is not that great. Maybe I'm just used to better quality images than you, but really, it's not that good, and it's not because I don't know what I'm doing.

You can get all sort of fancy cameras but depending on where you live you should opt for something discreet / hidden that cannot be spotted from outside. Afterall you wouldn't like your car to be broken into to steal a camera that looks too posh to steal. I would suggest heading over to Techmoan and find some budget dashcams that work great. I have got the Mobius which is great (front facing) and I am thinking of getting the "wedge" type as rear facing camera. (hides well).

Rubbish! Or you've got a duffer. The HD on my 200 was bang on, that good that I upgraded to the 220 instead of buying a much more expensive model.

I have this dash cam and it's brilliant. The wireless transfers are a little slow, but you don't have to do it that often. The app works fine, easy to change settings through the app (including quick setting time and date). I have a couple of sample videos on my YouTube channel. YouTube encodes the videos and they look a bit crappy, but the actual files are perfect quality. Have a look..
Looking at your video the license plate was only legible very close, compared to some other cameras, is it YouTube compression or really like that?

i never use suction mounts, use proper adhesive pads you might get caught out by the law if you get a stroppy copper
Mounting a suction-mounted camera on the majority of the windscreen means contravening the UK Road Traffic Act 1988.
No part of the device – camera, cradle, suction cups and any wires – cannot intrude more than 4cm into the wiper arc of the windscreen.
Even stricter, the same components cannot impinge more than 1cm into the ‘red zone’, which comprises the driver’s view.
Failing to do this could result in a charge of careless or even dangerous driving in Scotland.

Had this cam for over a year and highly recommend it. Plug it in and forget about it. Handy little button to do emergency recordings if you see something might happen or just has.
Only problem with mine is in the hot weather the suction mount fell off and the sensitivity went a bit haywire and started doing emergency recordings all the time, so had to switch that part off.
Camera usually cannot react quick enough to changes in light and focus, doesn't cover a wide enough area, camera cuts out as phone gets too hot in summer, flattens your phone battery etc etc.
Started out using dash cam apps but they are no substitute for the real thing, trust me.

Good quality camera bar battery life for settings. If you park up for over 4 days then you need to reset the time and date. Picture quality is superb tho, numberplates easily recognisable and good at night too.
