I was looking for a pressure cooker and even though this one is not large it will do ok for me!
Glad it is a branded one with a 10 year guarantee and for £15 with free collection it is a good price :-)
Plenty in stock too!!

Not cheerful when you have to clean up after the explosion lol. Had a prestige for 20 yrs, never a problem, after the fiasco of 2of these with the same issue, went back to prestige. Very happy. Goulash on the table within the hour

Yeah I heard of an old woman cooking beetroot in one and it blew up in her face and killed her bad death

I'd be very weary of cooking grains in a pressure cooker. Heard a horror story of one exploding due to grain blocking PRV. Not fun. Big fan of pressure cookers though!

I've had this for years still going strong. Wouldn't be without one ever. And with Xmas coming up at this price would be rude not to buy it.

Picked up this model from Robert Dyas a few months ago.
Had 2 of these in the last couple of months and returned both for the same issue. The gasket comes lose and falls out, doesn't pressurise properly. Because it's loose, you have to make sure it's popping up properly without getting jammed inside. All fine and dandy they come with a 10 yr guarantee, sure you get a new pressure cooker, but no stove cos it just exploded and wrecked the one you had. :smirk:

Had a couple of these also, but over the last few years not months.
Agree with your comment on the gasket issue... just for me it took maybe 18 months to manifest instead of 2 and I'm happy enough with that shelf life.
