The deal posted here have better multimedia Skullcandy speakers, 1TB larger HDD, is thinner, and supposedly better build. The touchscreen version have the touchscreen and better graphics card. Both processors are fairly similar in performance.
If you're simply after touchscreen, then C50 is the right choice.

I was looking towards a laptop with touchscreen and the extra 1tb storage isnt important to me is there much difference elsewhere? I havent been on the computing scene in ages only need a laptop for photos/hukd/streaming to tv and such

The touchscreen is C Series, which build is slightly poorer than the L series and also do not have Skullcandy audio. In general, S series is better than L and followed by C series.

Had to buy a laptop quickly for a trip as my crApple macbook pro totally failed. Got a Toshiba and so far has outlasted crApple by a factor of three and was a fifth of the price.

Amex currently running Spend £100, get £10 cashback in Argos. So if you pay with 1x Amex card.. that's £10 off. Even better if you have two Amex cards, cause that is £20 off. Then if you click through Topcashback, you get another 1.5% off, which is £4.50. So it is possible to bring the price down to £275.50.

Yeah, he wants it mainly for minecraft and Agar.io, nothing super demanding graphics wise. Thanks for the imput xela. I'd prefer whichever was faster for him as he gets extremely frustrated with our current laptop which can't seem to handle basic miniclip games.

I Brought This From John Lewis and was then priced matched with currys at £299.00 plus 2 year warrenty.

The toshiba laptops ive always had problems with along woth viao in regards to internet connection as what i believe to be noise interference where all other brands are fine so need to avoid. Makes me sad been as most deals for decently price laptops are toshiba
