Thomas is not included, but this is a great track and still a good price :)

I got this cheap from JL about a year ago, it doesn't come with a train and I'd agree you can probably pick up a set for about £16 somewhere that comes with a train (double bonus if its not another Thomas)
Also this is the OLD track style, so not readily compatable with the new sets, howver I think it is much better track overall as kids can put it together themselves.

The new style sets come with attachments that let you attach old style tracks onto them.

Thomas &friends track master set
Not happy that it is misleading the picture shows a train but it's not included so more expense to buy a train it should be clear that a train is not part of the set as shown in picture on the box illustration.
(That's from a tesco direct review) ... Looks like it doesn't actually come with a train.
More like an expansion pack.

If you want something with a Thomas train then something like this would be better. £17 but you aren't going to get much cheaper with a train included. Smyth's Thomas set

Not bad for the track but does NOT look like it actually includes an engine if you read the product specs.
Don't want anyone to be disappointed.
