With bloodborne you just need time to get into, is this your first souls series game? It was my first real time playing a souls game and I was the same as you I sank a few hours and stopped then I got back into it and I was sucked in, the challenge and everything with it was something else. Even after completion New game + just felt so right to do! What I recommend is trying to beat the first few bosses if that doesn't quite suck you in then perhaps it isn't your cup of tea!

Man, don't play it for its story, however the lore is fantastic. Bloodborne is all about its atmosphere and it's gameplay. I love all the souls games but this game blew me away. I heard the expansion is epic too.

This, Bloodborne and Fallout 4 are the games of the year for me. But I must agree that the Witcher 3 deserves the award.

I downloaded Bloodborne, played it for an hour and just couldn't get into it. Maybe i'm doing something wrong? There just seems no story, path or variety?
Think i'll pick it up again next year as it has won so many awards and is highly rated everywhere!

I love the way the horses get stuck on fences, then you have to dismount, walk around the fence, call your horse, then remount your horse. Yeah, game of the year!
