As a huge ryan Adams fan I rate his version as just ok. It's probably the realest and most raw versions you'll ever hear of those songs, and at the end of the day, I think you're just left with songs that aren't that good. But still, it's ok. But I'd listen to an album of him signing his way through the Argos catalogue, so no wonder I don't hate it. And if his version leads to Taylor swift fans picking up a copy of ashes and fire, then it's all for the greater good.

So yeah, might pick this up and see how the originals sound, might make me appreciate Ryan's version even more...

Funnily enough some of the best songs on the album are the ones which were not singles.
