Usually £38, this is Talisker's new non age statement single malt. Reduced to £25 in Waitrose, plus they are giving an extra 10% off wines and spirits until the 15th if you have a mywaitrose card.
Current Santander credit card offer available gives another 5% cashback on single Waitrose purchase, so another bit off also possible if you have one.

Anybody know how this compares to the aged version, which I absolutely adore? Even at a bargain price would hate to buy and then find it's not like the magical peaty, smokey distillation I've had in the past.

If you like the other Taliskers then I'd say you would like this. It's still got plenty of peat and heat behind it and is very drinkable.

usually £38 ???
I wonder who is crazy enough to pay that much for non age product
am not sure if it is a bargain even at £25 (same price at Tesco), anyone has tried it?

The NAS whisky's are definitely lacking in comparison to their counterparts IMO, I haven't tried this one but I imagine it's just the same. I won't be purchasing another NAS whisky, unless they become available at sub £15 or something, which is all they're worth
