Stiga Classic Pro Line Racer. Usually around £65-£80 (Amazon, Newitts). A brilliant sledge with steering and brakes. I got this last year when it was on offer and now it's even cheaper! You have to assemble it yourself but it doesn't take long and it's a proper solid bit of kit. Suitable for adults and children. If you believe the weather forecasts there will be plenty opportunities to use it shortly too!

Think I'll get one. Then we definitely won't get snow. 2 cheap unused sledges from last year still.

Ty, was very tempted by the tub type with left + right handles, for a very reasonable £11 - went for the racer though as we've never had one of this type before.

The OPS post is a better brand. Stiga is a Swedish company and have been building these since 1972. I understand that they haven't sent production to China and are still building them in Sweden. They really are good quality and last many years. This isn't the lowest model, it has the retractable pull cord, so you don't have to hold onto the tow rope when you head down the hill. There are also lots of spare parts so it doesn't end up in the bin if something does break. I'd go for the Stiga over the Amazon clone any day

Thanks for that - though it isn't actually the same. Similar though.
