How it works:
You buy any of the below bags of coffee (Ground or beans) for £2.50 from ASDA/Tesco/Waitrose or Ocado and when you are finished with the bag, instead of binning it, take it to your local Starbucks and exchange it for a FREE Tall Latte - On Welcome Break Motorway sites, a tall latte is £2.75 now so they are effectively paying you 25p to buy this coffee (If you would actually pay £2.75 for a coffee)
Obviously the vouchers are available at all sites, but I mention the Welcome Break ones because they are the most expensive and most cost effective way to use them if you were buying coffee at WB sites normally. I think on Starbucks owned "Non premium" sites, they are about £2.30 each for a tall latte.
If you knew good coffee at all you'd know how crappy Starbucks coffee really is. The beans are over roasted and the baristas don't really know what they're doing which is why all their coffee has that horrible burnt toast aftertaste.

Morrisons use fresh beans in their cafes and charges £1.60 for coffee and £1 for a small pot of tea. They should do free hot water refills like in the USA. Actually the USA and Canada do free refills of tea and coffee where you pay for it. In diners, coffee is free! Much better value in eating out in the USA.

Sadly the cost of a flight to America for a free coffee is way off my starbucks in the uk... I will stick to starbucks thanks.

I'm a committed coffeeholic, but prefer to use chains with British roots like Costa and Caffe Nero - those who love O'Barmy can of course use American themed establishments if they so wish, this being a freeish country so far.
For packs of coffee I prefer Douwe Egberts which was founded in the Netherlands, and can be bought around a pound per 100g.

You should use the non-chain, independant coffee shops and support your local economy. As a bonus they are likely to use real, freshly roasted coffee and have a passion for the coffee itself and the best way to serve it.
Costa, Nero etc is awful, stale bitter 'coffee' that is borderline undrinkable once you're used to the real thing
These were 99p each a while ago in Tesco as they had been reduced to clear and scanned as teabags for 99p as they were past the BBE date.

Cups of tea and coffee are free at Waitrose anyway once you get a Waitrose card. No need to spend any money contrary to some belief!

How about petrol price I need to pay to get there?!
Have you read the "16 Dilemmas Only People Who Have The Free Coffee At Waitrose Will Understand" at buzzfeed? It was hilarious!
I collected about 10 bags already.
But seriously, the latte made at several different Starbucks in Sheffield are all really really really awful!

Starbucks tastes like a Starbucks. Costa tastes like Costa. Not bad not good but taste like you expect every time. If you want "Single batch, roasted on the day and served by a Hipster" then best to avoid the chains.

I've not bought a starbucks coffee all year. The beans aren't as good as illy but your basically getting them for free. Very few London shops allow you to pay for an upgrade but Soya milk is free. Some just give you a larger coffee if you offer to pay but I've given up asking now. If anyone knows how they should ring the extra up?? If they don't charge, I put the money in the tip-jar. Nobody checks the date of expiry but they can be used 30 days after expiry date. My last batch from Tesco's a few months ago has a Feb 2016 expiry so stock up  Not all starbucks take them, just company owned stores in my experience. I've found a few motorway (M25 Xtra) and station shops that won't take them as they are franchise stores.

With that much milk added to a coffee, I'd sooner go to McDonalds and get a banana milkshake.
Starbucks burn their coffee to make the sweet milky drinks. It is horrible coffee when drunk black.

I buy Starbucks beans from Ocado and have had this deal for a while now. You can add the extra to make your latte into a caramel, vanilla etc. Or some Starbucks let you pay the difference and have a red cup Christmas coffee. It's worth it for me to carry the empty packet in my bag.

Any, I made a mess when explaining it in the OP - you can use it in any but is more cost effective to use on motorways if you would normally buy them on the motorway.

I'd rather pay the extra 79p for a Latte at Starbucks and get a much nicer coffee than the dishwater the Aldi coffee makes

Starbucks Colombian Ground Coffee (200g)
Starbucks House Blend Ground Coffee (200g)
Starbucks Caffe Verona Dark Ground Coffee (200g)
Starbucks Fairtrade Espresso Coffee Beans (200g)
These are normally £3.50 each.
Hope this helps some fellow coffeeholic's :D
