I'm not sure if this has been posted but I sure did search thoroughly. I don't know if this is a permanent reduction or just on the weekend as this branch of Tesco is one of those having a little Star Wars weekend but it might well be worth a look - or at Tesco's nearby other branch at Brooklands.
Regardless - I took a photo - as I'm well aware this exact figure is showing as out of stock ONLINE.

You suppose correctly. I would never dream of throwing money at Lego for making crappy looking representations of Star Wars. It's tantamount to sacrilege.
