I'm not convinced either of those will be big on the collectors front - however IF I was forced i'd say go for the Tumblr.
The latest Millennium Falcon has been up and down in price and i've seen it as cheap as £90, with the new film etc. there will be loads of them around so it's unlikely to increase in price. Things like the Slave 1 and the Red Five X-Wing will be a better 'investment'.

The UCS sets generally command a higher price once they have been discontinued.

I'm happy to wait until next Sept when it will be £137. If you need it for Xmas though you won't find it cheaper.

Buy it because you like it and want to build it, not as an investment.

Wow! I paid £69 for this Slave 1 set a few years ago , its on my son's shelf gathering dust!

At £69 it's more likely to be set 8097. I've never seen this UCS version anywhere near as cheap as that.

They do 20% off every September, all the prices go up so it is only really worthwhile for these big "rarely reduced" Lego sets. I waited 11 months to save £55 on the Death Star  - they could always pull the promotion I suppose.

Well I do have a Midi-Chlorian count higher than that of Master Yoda.

Mine arrived earlier today. Pristine condition inside the packing box, just like the Batman Tumbler, although possibly more luck than judgement as there's not a lot of those air filled bags in there! Still, arrived safe and sound and a good deal.

Quick search shows that the 8097 set is going at around £150 and in some cases over £200. So that turns out to have been a better "investment"
