Physical copy is £44.99 but the download seems to have dropped the £24.99 which looks like the best price around especially if you have any credit or reward points.

That's not a bad deal for once at GAME. Cheaper than the usually cheap CDKeys.

Hot, still won't bite yet as I've heard its a dead game (not entirely dead but games like fo4 have 875% more players)

How disappointing that it's going the same route as DICE's other failed multiplayers games. I remember playing the Medal of Honor reboot, and trying to get past its many problems. It didn't take that long for me to give up on it as a failed game. When the Hot Zone map pack was on sale a few months later, I bought it to see if the game had improved. After a number of separate attempts to try the new maps out, I gave up again, as there were no populated servers at any point. I only played the betas of the next one, Hardline, and more recently Battlefront. All of them felt joyless, imbalanced, and incomplete. BC2>BF3>BF4 but at least they all had a distinctive flow to their battles, and always had plenty of players on just about every game mode. It's hard not to assume the blame belongs to EA for meddling, but this latest one really is insultingly low on content for a game the sell on their own server for almost £100.

It's just not a particularly good game is all (on PC anyway). Not sure on other platforms.

Is it because the game left out so many options, so they can be released as DLC @ £££ which makes most of us not bother with the game ? or has it been rushed, and gameplay/graphics resemble that of the 1999 PC graphic days ? (Voodoo 3 16MB gfx!)

Not a bad price for a newly released game, but it's a bit of a stinker. I can see the average price plummeting over the next couple of months.

Not bad but I'll wait till the GOTY edition or till the base game drops to like a tenner as BF4 did not long after.

Such a boring and bland game, dropped it after an hour, repetitive and casual

I've heard it's not very good and as Game is selling it cheap two weeks after the release I'd say those rumours are probably true then.

Yeah itll prob stay high on console but you only get a basic online game which pc players are used to getting as an add on to the actual main game lol. I'd rather they made a single player with no multiplayer with those graphics.

Paid 35 for this yesterday. I wouldn't recommend this game. The graphics are unreal but the game itself is a bit crap. I had a feeling it wouldnt be fantastic but I'm a star wars fan so got it anyway. It's a very shallow game and as someone above said the way they use dlc is a disgrace.

I think 8/5 till 26/11 is when it was £49.99, but it seems to have gone back up to £49.99 now anyway.

Great graphics but the game is NOT aimed at shooter fans, it's designed for anyone (casual gamers who are big Star Wars fans, for example) to just pick up and play without worrying too much about dying every 5 seconds. In other words, think of it as an arcade Star Wars game that just happens to also be multiplayer and involve shooting, rather than a TPS/FPS game.

Was underwhelmed with the beta. Battlefield 4 is a better game all round and I don't bother playing that much.
For me It is nice to see that I am not on my own in refusing to buy into £50 base game , exclusive content, DLC, premium pass shenanigans.
They need to go back to delivering what marketeers would describe as a GOTY level of experience in the base game, like they used to.
We are not as stupid as they think after all.

unfortunately, some people are that stupid ... if they didn't make money out of doing this with DLC then they wouldn't do it.
Personally I've only ever bought 1 season pass - Shadow of Mordor (as it was only a couple of pounds extra to buy them both together)
Most of what is released as DLC is plain crap ... too many games in my backlog to waste time with tacked on DLC

Do not get me started with EA...dice as a developer are great but EA and there greedy formulas & shareholders make it the worse company on the planet... but eh! that's just my opinion and 10,000's of other peeps too feel the same...such a shame really as EA use to be great back in the day as a game developer as soon as they became a publisher distributor they moved to the dark side...
Do not believe me read up yourself on how EA buys out game developer's takes the best peeps sacks the rest they also take the franchise too C&C being one when Westwood studios held C&C they where great ..they have destroyed some great ones like Bullfrog, Westwood Studios, and Origin.
I have boycotted EA for years now as there greedy bunch of ****....

First free DLC is out imminently for EA early access and on 8th Dec for the rest of us. this adds a new map and game mode, seems to be standard practice these days (look at Destiny Taken King FFS and people still bought it!).
I am enjoying it so far, and if you read the majority of reviews they all set it out fairly clearly about the somewhat limited content, so at least you'll know what you are getting for your money.
