Could use a revolut card if its your first time using one enter code MSE top the card up with £22 and get £5 free.
So would cost you £20.04
(MSE code gives you £5, when you top up £10)...

Hi, looking to get this from the Canadian Store (too nervous to go Russian or Columbian I'm afraid). Do you need vpn for Canadian and do you need to buy store credit first or can you pay on credit card (its an international card). Many thanks

You might be left over with some rubles but there will always be future bargains to be had, I've had 400 left in my account for a while so bought 2500 for £23.55 and that was enough for me to buy Battlefront and just to confirm it doesn't download a Russian version of the game or restrict you to Russian servers, it behaves just as if you had purchased from the UK store.

Absolutely - always a bargain round the corner. Enjoy the game

But it isnt really because you have to buy microsoft points in increments of 1000 rubles. Meaning you have to actually spend £28.46 to be able to have enough rubles to get the game. Ok you could argue you'd have rubles left for future purchases, but I dont see £3 worth of rubles going far.
Not to mention the games servers may be region locked (not sure), so that means in matchmaking, you would be paired up with russians all the time.

100% incorrect I'm afraid. Check Chrisuk's post (linked above) then you will understand how easy it is. No MS points required and I play against UK people on my Columbian bought game.

Is the game any good? Do you get another 10% if you have EA Access?

If you have EA Access you can play it free for 10 hours and make your own mind up...

Awful game. Looks good but literally zero story line and the online gets very boring, very quickly. Traded mine in (PS4) within a day.

Can't figure out how to do this. Went to site, signed in, changed it to Russian store but obvs everything is in Russian so can't figure out how to go any further. Really want to purchase game as surprise for my son :disappointed:
i'd say read the op at least twice, all the info is there, if you struggle, comment in the thread and someone will be happy to help you

I'm a huge star wars fan, I'll confess.
I played the beta and thought it would get boring really quickly (even though I'd pre-purchased the game)
I pretty much play it none stop now. The maps are fantastic, nothing ever gets predictable and its 100% true to source.
Having purchased literally everything for the X1 this Xmas, I have put more hours into this game than everything else combined (including Fallout 4)

Russian store also has EA Access 12 months for 1.199R (about £11.38)
However you can't use credit, you have to insert a credit card, i tried with my Revolut, it didn't work.
Has anyone managed to get EA Access from a foreign store?

For some stores you have to use a VPN to make purchases. I purchased my EA Access from the Russian store with a Russian VPN and my normal credit card.

Yeah I think that's what I'll do. I was really tempted but read the reviews and it made me think twice.

That's the risk I'll have to take. I'm guessing that the dlc wont be that amazing and I will probably not ever buy this game. But if it is amazing then I'll happily pay £50 for it then

Same. I've got more than enough games for now. If the dlc makes the game a lot better then maybe I'll get it then.

All I've read about this game is that it's good for a short time then it's boring so that's what puts me off.

The xbox one and ea access etc are all xmas gifts for my son. I think I'll give this one a miss. It's definitely hot for price but the game doesn't get the best reviews.

You will have to purchase more credit than the game costs to buy it though so will have money left over as you can only buy credit in certain denominations
