So executives build a brand based on how long their batteries last and then...
new executives get greedy and bring out this apparently inferior product to destroy their key USP.
Sounds like Duracell are run by geniuses these days?!

Am I right in saying Energizer Ultimate Lithium 4 for £5.00 are the longest lasting (but not the cheapest)?
I usually get manager special Duracell from B&M but it sound like these could be 60% of normal quality.
thanks

These batteries are 'Simply Duracell' - a lower powered battery than other Duracells. but probably OK at £3 for 12.

I would go for rechargeable eneloops over constantly buying wasteful old stock poundland batteries

I'm sure this and other offers with "items above £1" which are ONLY available to you if/when you meet some purchase obligation are their lawyers' way around that issue.

They're okay, but only occasionally the best. Plus it depends on what you're considering the 'best' attribute.
Poundland has a tendency to stock old and close to out of date stuff in my experience. This is certainly true for many of the branded products I've had from there over the years. Could well be the case with the batteries above.

They will be rejects with about 50 to 60% capacity only, thats why they are only a quid!

They wouldn't turn on my camera to view pics. Put them in a clock lasted about a month and had to be replaced

It's worth checking out this site for battery capacities: http://www.batteryshowdown.com/results-lo.html
Have some heat... I don't thinkyou can buy them cheaper - even with the extra £1 required spend!
