Man utd northern losers are charging Reading fc 37.00 to 45.00 even though it's on TV!!!!!!! Sheer greed. Reading Fc have stepped in to reduce it to 30.00.

I was in 2 minds about going to this match till I saw how cheap the tickets were. Anyone know what drinking is like down there?? Away fans allowed or is it like all the pubs round Stamford Bridge where it's home supporters only.
If I'm not boozing after I'll take my son otherwise I'll go with mates.
Wish I was at the pub after Palace beat Southampton couple weeks ago cos Pardew and Millen were there

few decent pubs around, shouldn't be a problem finding a place to drink. Town is only 5 mins from the station, and the stadium is 15mins walk I'd say.

Heated - going to take my 8 and 5 year old for their first "proper" football match, not a Saints or Palace fan but it's two decent premier league sides for the price of a league 2 game

Southampton's recent form has been of great concern however, what you said about them not being 'an attacking side' couldn't be further from the truth. They've been the opposite, which has been well demonstrated the last few years in how they rarely fear teams in the top four and can outplay them. They very rarely park the bus either.
Still can't quite get over what you said given some of the games I've seen. Where Southampton I think fell down is they haven't been direct enough going forward and overplayed passing. They're very patient though which is good but again can perhaps be to their detriment.
It's unsurprising they're beginning to have problems given how many changes there has been to the team in the last three years.
As for saying 'they don't have an attacker between them',
Sadio Mané - Winger and highly rated Senagalese International (shortlisted - best African International of the year)
Graziano Pellè - current go to Centre Forward in the Italian National Team.
Jay Rodriguez - one of the best strikers in the Premier League a couple of seasons ago(unlucky to get injured before WC)
Shane Long - Republic of Ireland International - not as good as the others but works hard and is a well proven goal scorer.
Steven Davis - Northern Ireland International - great team player, who's goals put NI into the European Championships.
Victor Wanyama - Kenyan International - great defensive midfielder who can also score goals
Ryan Bertrand - England International, helped Chelsea win the Champions League (promising international career)
There are plenty of places that goals could come from in the Southampton team. There's others I could mention and that's not to forget all the players who've left like Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Morgan Schneiderlin, Rickie Lambert, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Gareth Bale and not to forget Theo Wallcot although that's going back a fair way.

I can only buy one ticket?? Am I doing something wrong?

You need to assigned the names of the people who are going to attend individually against each ticket. THis is done by setting up an account for each person but the lead account can then buy them all at the same time. All named accounts can go to the same email address though. You will need everyone's date of birth to set up the accounts. Its a real pain but once setup it is there for next time.

Just to say cup games are usually boring and very slow as both teams play them carefully. Fine for fans, but think twice about taking a girlfriend who's never been to a game of football before! At least sit in the northern if you do for the atmosphers

Yeah you're right yeah. Both Southampton & Palace are really dull defensive teams who don't have an attacker between them. And cup games between them are even worse. I mean last season when they met in the cup there were only a measly 5 goals in the entire game! Talk about a snoozefest

A lot of teams are doing cut price FA Cup tickets. West Ham are charging £20 for adults and £5 for children which is fairly reasonable.
