Battery is shockingly bad need charge it twice a day.

Plenty of lags while browsing

Would not recommend to anybody even at that price I'm hoping for a good deal on a new phone tonight to get rid.

Dont be fooled into buying this because its cheap, its cheap for a reason and its not because of black friday, the battery on this phone makes the S6 battery look good, not to mention if you read the link posted by another member on page one there is 45 pages of almost negative reviews about it, you'd be better of saving the £100 and putting towards something else.

1080p, 2GB RAM, Oct-core processor, 16GB storage, 5.5" screen.

After 2 months of tickets I had today my money back but because my credit card is not in pounds and hte currency rate has changed I\m -11 pounds......

They offer me a replacement or refund, I agree for replacement , the answer was - no stock , I knew that because they cancelled before my 2d order for which the payment authorization has not still cancelled even after the 5-working days promised period.

My bank propose me the block the card because this site is not secure.

And the my case for the first missing phone - no info already 4 days!!!!

You are right - I thought that someone picked it up but no - the courier lost it ?!?!?!?!?!

If anyone has been having battery problems. After 2 weeks of heavy usage I have found the real problem. Many people are complaining that the battery does not last long and this is completely true. It seems like a some software issue because having used the stamina mode and queue battery option the battery should last significantly longer but it doesn't. Having experimented for the past two weeks I see what the main problem is. Try this and see if it works for you because even though it shouldn't it clearly does and is better for practical day to day usage. In STAMINA mode leave everything switched off but leave extended usage on (thank me later). Leave Queue Background data switched off (it sounds stupid but It really does help with battery, don't ask because I do not know why.) In developer options I have switched all the animations off but I have not seen a significant jump in battery by doing this. The first two solutions in power management really work wonders for the battery life on my phone plus all my messages come on time and doesn't disable my mobile data and WI-FI.

I ordered 2 phones in 2 different orders.

The first was dispatched , the second - cancelled by JL in 14 days because no stock.

The first normally should been delivered on 4th December (the address is to another international courier) so actually I don't know where is the phone because on Hermes site the status of the parcel is Awaiting receipt from Courier from the 4th December!!!!!!, I've sent them an email - still no answer, my courier (the receiver) told that no parcel was delivered, and from John Lewis has no answer (I sent them an email 2 days ago).

Are you normally able to place an online order with JL, only for them to cancel at a later date?

I thought their stock system was robust; failing that, I thought they were able to source more stock at a later date?

I sold it through Gumtree on the 4th. They seemed happy so all was good.

wifi is rubbish on mediatek best you got rid , i bought 2 to resell but seeing as morons are prepared to pay £100 to make £15 profit on ebay what chance do you have , so sending mine back to john lewis , full price of these is laughable about £60 is all they should have been.

I would avoid those chinese ones that are not properly tested! If you're going to get one, get one of the more popular ones that many people have tested first or be faced with many issues.

Ordered and arrives quite late on Friday 4th, a week later. The delivery was some chav in a saxo, back seat full of boxe. he said it was delivered to wrong address, was retrieved, hence delay. Box had sellotape all over it as it was opened with a tear. Should have rejected it but thought if driver is admitting wrong delivery and something is wrong with it, then I should be OK.

Anyway item seems fine, no finger prints on screen so probably not been opened but no tamper seal which is very odd for a brand new phone.
As for the phone, quite impressed. Love features such as one hand operation shifting to the right, close all opened tabs, ability to customise drop doen menu and other little things. Screen is fantastic as is camera.
Perhaps easily impressed as I still have moto g 1st gen. Giving to the wife as I'm determined to buy a Chinese phone soon

Either way it is up to JL to contact the Police and ensure the customer gets either a refund or a replacement. That is disappointing to hear that they are not taking responsibility.

I think he is talking about the outer delivery package was sealed. my phone box wasn't sealed as well (I would expect a tamper proof sticker on either ends) but the contents were brand new and the delivery package was securely sealed.

Ordered two phones from John Lewis and parcel arrived in good shape and sealed. Signed for it and when I opened, the phone boxes were empty. Called John Lewis and they said it's not their responsibility and report police. They said parcel weighed perfectly fine 600gm when it left for delivery but I told John Lewis today that it should have weighed 900 gm. Big complaint !!!

Picked up the SU6 last night from Bluewater..... brilliant phone, no lag with lots of applications open and best battery life I have come across on a phone,it's hardly gone down and have been downloading apps, watching YouTube etc... Plus just got it unlocked for £1.99 of a seller on eBay.... To me it's a much better performer then the Sony without doubt.

You mean as in stamina mode etc? Can't remember what it was on if I'm honest but screen was at around 80 as I like the screen bright on my phones.

As for WiFi, I never hold phone when browsing it's always on my knee or leaning on a cushion but it didn't lose signal or speed.

My brother and hubby done this last night and both loved the Sony best.

battery ran down 20% after 20mins of asphalt with a medium screen brightness setting , did a wifi test works ok when you are holding it in your hand from the bottom , stick it on your knee and wifi went from 33mbps to 6mbps .

would not recommend , the mediatek chip is quicker but their wifi and radios are not very good.

46k on antutu vs 27k for the su6 only just noticed the su6 uses a 32bit o/s even the 615 is 64bit

how stupid vodafone :confused: the su6 was a good 1 minute behind the sony starting the tests at the same time

Sony smartphones are renowned for having poor battery life. Main reason I didn't go for this deal last week.

Ours is lightning fast. Maybe your WiFi dodgy? Brother gets through the day with ultra battery and the Sony battery does the same. Brother said Sony was definitely faster and is gutted he didn't get one but I couldn't call him as the deal was at midnight.

Hi it was on wifi...... The battery is terrible also I have heard the SU6 battery is much better.

Got mine and am going to return it.... Battery life is shocking and the lag on browsing is a joke..... Going to get the Vodafone smart ultra 6 instead as it seems nothing can beat this in the price range.

It's a cheap Sony phone with bad reviews. DON'T BUY INTO THE SPECS. Sony's non flagships are terrible and they really couldn't give a monkeys if you aren't happy with it. Filled with bloatware and you'll be lucky if you get an update.

That assume's their stock count is in real time. I think it is but it amazes me how many large retailers can't get it working with up tot he second stck alerts. Prime examples is M&S and Tescos.

Been looking for a branded phone from a decent supplier at this price. Bought an Elephone p8000 which after 2 updates was bricked, only got 10 days use. No more cheap tat. Heat given.

Have bitten the bullet and gone for it. Wasnt planning on buying anything but at this price seems ok - not too expensive and with option of upgrading external memory via SD slot. Is the battery removable?
