Get the HDR-AS200VR also available at currys using the Action50 code, £121.50. Better than this and also comes with the live view remote included!

^^^ I've had that happen to every single action cam I've owned when I've put it in waterproof housing. Just put some pads in with the housing to stop it
If you want to hear something really stupid. How about linking to a 1080p deal, when you can get the 4K model for about a tenner more on the same site.

Funny because Xiaomi's £40 1080p Yi has the same Sony sensor inside. You do know that Sony flogs them off to every man and his dog.

Yep, given that the X1000V has gone, the AS200V is the deal here... lowest price on Amazon looks to have been £225.50!

Hope the waterproof cares are better designed that the earlier series' cases - gasses up after about 15 mins. Just hopeless, doesn't happen how good the camera was if the case's viewing lens mists over :-( Tried everything. Latest plan is to drill a vent up through the tripod screw hole and try and still keep the case resistant to rain, etc.... But at least this model has a flat bottom to sit level! MAJOR fail design Sony engineers - so bad I wonder if they actually USED their camera in the field ...
