Edit: not bad, but TomTom is the best 4K deal on Currys now.

tomtom is 15fps at 4k, sony is 30fps at 4k. I would choose sony everyday. There is no point of 15fps at 4k as it will be jerky and unwatchable.

One of the best feature of this camera over GoPro is an excellent image stabiliser (not for 4K recording though).
I use it for horse riding, so a decent image stabilier gives a huge improvement in output.
I managed to get a display model using this code but quite happy that it was unmarked, with all accessories etc, didn't realise that i would need a faster (UHS spec?) memory card to make it record in 4k. Quite pleased.

Its required due to the high bitrate recording.
A note about the XAVC format. You need to format the card in the camera. When I used it initially, I couldn't work out why it wouldn't allow the XAVC recording even with a UHS U3 card. Putting in a Windows formatted card only allowed the MP4 recording - dont know why, but formatting in the camera created a different folder structure and allowed the recording.
