Sennheiser CX £29.00 earphone on Amazon is reduced to £20.00.
I Don't Know but to Me this is a good deal and especially if you are looking to find a earphone as a Christmas present.
Unique finger-contoured design of ear-canal phones allow for easy adjustment and optimal wearing comfort
Strong bass-driven stereo sound, articulate and clear but not overwhelming
Excellent passive attenuation of ambient noise; don't forget to try out each size left and right for the optimum fit
Ideal for use with all MP3, iPod, iPhone, DVD and CD players and portable gaming systems
Symmetrical cable that's not too long or too short; ear adaptors also included

I've got some CX300ii, it's worth buying them over this. And I partially agree with you, my experience with cx300ii is that they develop some kind of fault within the year (never within weeks) but that's what you have warranty for.
£15-20 for 2yrs, I can live with it.

Had three pairs of Sennheiser headphones ranging from 30 to 60 quid. All developed a fault in one of the ears within a few weeks. Never buy them again. Good sound quality, very questionable build quality.

They used to be reduced down to 13.99 at xmas. No way i'd pay £30 for them personally.

The last pair of this make i bought, also through a link on this site about 5 years ago when play.com used to always have deals(Where are they now). Anyway they were reduced from 30 something to just under 20. One of the earplugs just fell apart one day. it wasn't in a bag it was just in my hand waiting for me to get the ipod sorted and when i went to grab both sides to put them in my ears one side just unraveled. All the inner bits came apart. I thought i'd learnt my lesson when my eshure ones got the smaller side ripped off when carried in my rucksack so i took care to always keep em in the pouch away from everything. I guess every good has a story of a dud product but its put me off them.
