why on earth do the bursts finish always split down the middle and not be neat across the whole front.

My guess would be they can't get maple thick enough for a whole guitar veneer so they slice it in half but at least the way we cut it makes a nice symmetrical design.

This model... bar the pony wheels.
Didn't like the previous model with the pop up lights.
Came with standard cloth... which was yuk.
I remember driving one home 239 bhp standard if I remember rightly. Proper car. Storm blue.
Not as good as the integrale.... but much much better value for money
Good memorys....

The Gold Top looked almost a deal until I noticed its missing the 4th control nob and the pickups have no pole pieces :-S What kind of frankenstein Les Paul is this?

I just checked, Amazon have 2015 LP STANDARDs currently for £1780. Traditional £1375.
Here is the record for the Standard showing it dipped to £1049:
Not bad but not great price for the 50's tribute which I think is the only one for this price. Seems similar to my les paul junior. Good guitar but I've found the P90's, while good, aren't very versatile.. so I play my Ibanez more and the LPJr stays on the wall collecting dust :disappointed:

Every guitarist should have at least one P90 equipped instrument in their tone arsenal. You can never have too many guitars.

I ordered a traditional from this company on a previous deal a couple of weeks. Ordered on Friday and arrived in Monday. Shipped from Germany. Spoke to them on the phone for the order and everything was great

beautiful guitars sure as always when I walk into a guitar shop it's like xmas morning for me even at 36 but I have to say these aren't that great price wise I mean £1700 for a lp trad, as sexy as it is , it's not a gr8 price, don't get me wrong there are some place that are more expensive but you should get a better deal instore and you play it b4 you buy it.
The only way now I'd blind buy on line and take a chance on the way the guitar plays is if it was worth my while either way meaning £1200 for an lp trad, then even if it plays bad it's n easy sell and a little profit, no lose.

Amazon had a few 2015 LP trads for under £1000 on the Black Friday, and did standards for £1049. I didn't buy one because I didn't believe it was the real price, but it was.
2015 not going to be a vintage year for Gibson, with the G-Force tuners and the horrible scribble headstock logo, that's why I don't think we are likely to see deals like that again.
Anyway, I agree in store is the best place to buy, try a few to see if you can find a good one but buying online is OK as long as you are comfortable that the vendor has a relaxed returns policy, so if you get one that you don't get on with you can bounce it straight back.
Ye Im not keen on the p90's n I have this thing that lp should have vintage kluson style tuners not those chrome kidney shaped grovers, even though the tunners themselves are pretty good.
But £20 cheaper than the chinese epi plus top.
