Ok to answer some questions.... My work use a company where by I can purchase discount vouchers for companies - like this offer for Currys.
Yes you can use these vouchers Instore and online. With using these vouchers online you can only use 5 e-vouchers in one single transaction.... You can use as many physical gift vouchers as you like (vouchers bought in a shop where by you get a physical card).
Should you buy more than 5 e-vouchers you can phone Lanka (that's the woman you want to speak to) on 01727 202594 and she can merge as many e-vouchers onto one card.
Hope that helps someone

This is deal of the month for me, given that Currys has some decent offers anyway, will price match some of the big competitors and have the free next day delivery, so excellent for some last minute gifts. This is better than the deal last year as Currys have only recently introduced the ability to redeem egift cards online
You add 3 vouchers to a basket. You use one code. On that one order. And you're only one user. It doesn't say one code per VOUCHER. How can it possibly stop you? If it did I would be calling them and saying they worded it badly and it should be allowed.

Brilliant - 4 charges on a CC and another 2 on a DC - none of them successful on WebCloud side ofcourse - and now suddenly I am left having to call the banks to unblock both cards and wait for the transactions to drop. Oh well should have just not bothered to be silly with multiple accounts and the likes ! Only myself to blame I suppose, but lesson learnt.

21 Dec 15#241
What is interesting is pretty much all the banks are picking up transactions from giftCloud as fraud - wonder why though. I have now had to reset 3 of my cards with 3 different banks - as all of them picked it up as a possible fraud - hearing the same from a number of people here also. Not so sure anymore on the genuine-ness of the voucher company ! :disappointed:
chris_61
21 Dec 15#242
I told the guy I wanted to buy an apple watch and asked if they stocked any instore (knowing they don't) and he said they are hard to find, i told him they are £50 off online and that I'd like to purchase one but my codes were for instore use only and didn't work online because it has different formatting and that i had already called Currys to confirm that earlier. He seemed to think otherwise but went and got a giftcard from the shelf and put £300 on it and threw away my 3x£100 vouchers from giftcloud.
matwalaboy
21 Dec 15#243
That's cool - I am tempted to do the same - as online deals are always better than store - especially with the cashback websites saving on top. So they dont stock apple watches in store, I am wondering if I should use the same trick :d Do they need the print out of the vouchers - or the e copies are good too?
carltonbp
21 Dec 15#244
19 hours later HSBC text me about it. They unfrauded my card straight away. Makes you wonder what's the point of verfied by VISA if it doesn't count for anything.
carltonbp
21 Dec 15#245
And you can't use this code online. Well that's a pile of pants. I guess you can order to collect in store if they stock it.
chris_61
21 Dec 15#246
You might have an easier time if you just print them off, I clicked the "Download EGIFT" option on giftcloud site and it prints it out on a nice format, he did scan the barcode when i gave him mine.
If i got lucky, you could try go before they close and say something along the lines of you need something for Christmas and need to order it online within the next hour to get it next day.

21 Dec 15#248
I have o2 priority but how would that work if you order something online? I thought the o2 priority code was for instore use only?

21 Dec 15#250
Please stop quoting the humongous image.
matwalaboy
21 Dec 15#251
I asked them the same question - that why can't you flag them there and then with the additional layer of security that the Verified By Visa is meant to be and they were like "eh, why do you even ask us tricky questions" ! - Crazy, now I have payments "supposedly" authorized - but then unsuccessful on the giftCloud website - surely in this age of technology these things can be made better and more full proof. If GiftCloud is detecting the address/name/blah combination and is anyways going to reject my payment - why does it bother to let me go through all of this - on the first instance just say "bug off" and I would have obliged
matwalaboy
21 Dec 15#252
Don't have O2 - how does that work, apologies if this has been answered before somewhere?
vassy4u
21 Dec 15#253
Well get a free o2 Sim. Put it in. Download the o2 priority app. Use the sim number for registration. Then once u r in u can use o2 perks. So they provide u with a code which gives u £10 off when spending min £150 instore.
matwalaboy
21 Dec 15#254
Ah ok - thanks for the pointers  However in this case, I already have the eVoucher and am just converting them into another one - so does that count as a spend anymore then?
vassy4u
21 Dec 15#255
Well instead of converting them try to buy a gift card which Tally's your e voucher amount. On paying use the priority code.
Taylornina
21 Dec 15#256
Just tried the code and it is saying it is not valid, said inky started today, any ideas??.
matwalaboy
21 Dec 15#257
So you mean pick up the gift cards from the shelves - take it to the till and then ask them to use the eVoucher to pay for them - when doing so also apply the priority code?
Lastly the free SIMO that O2 would send won't work for this, would it - I need some minimum balance to get this going?
Thanks for patiently answering all my queries - much appreciated

21 Dec 15#258

21 Dec 15#266
Thanks, that's the message most people responding to my request for a code in the ask forum suggested too.
In the meantime, managed to sort out the code on one of my phones by requesting a pal to forward the verification code sent to their o2 - he doesn't use priority so worked out perfect for me for this one voucher. Now need to sort out another to be able to split it into 2 orders and hopefully use the codes in store.

Remember from the thread people creating multiple accounts to get over the £100 limit, worked for some but I think some got cancelled/delayed as they have a fraud filter
Heat added
Although, how do you actually go about getting Currys to price match?
*edit* nevermind - looks like they have already dropped the price to £89.99! :innocent:
£130 - £26 =£104
then buy a £30 - 20% = 24
total = £104
can I buy two separate vouchers and use in a single transaction?
so I see this £700 television in Currys, I buy 7 x £100 vouchers, actual cost £560 and I can then use these to get the television, is that correct?
· Only one promo code can be used per order and per user.
Although other comments seem to suggest they have had some luck in the past with multiple purchases!

- Price match JL and Tesco Direct with the Amazon Fire TV which is £64 at those retailers (£79 Currys) - so will be £51.20 after the egift card, lowest price I have seen

The Ts and Cs say "One code per order per user."
You add 3 vouchers to a basket. You use one code. On that one order. And you're only one user. It doesn't say one code per VOUCHER. How can it possibly stop you? If it did I would be calling them and saying they worded it badly and it should be allowed.
inevitably some people will setup multiple accounts to try to bypass this
Just be aware if you are creating multiple accounts they may go into a pend status, see thread from last year
