UHD upscaling enhances the quality of all of your viewing
Thanks to the Samsung SUHD Picture Engine, you can enjoy various kinds of content with near UHD-level picture quality, even if it’s not from a UHD source. Samsung’s innovative processing engine enhances broadcast TV shows and movies as well as video on demand and more. That means not only does it process UHD sources at crisp 4K resolution, it even converts lower-resolution content to a level of clarity that’s almost like Ultra High Definition.
Powerful Quad Core performance
Thanks to a powerful Quad Core processor, your Samsung Smart TV offers enhanced performance. Enjoy faster multitasking and switch between content and web browsing. Also, you’ll notice smoother experience when interacting with your TV.
If you look at the bad reviews they are for model sizes other than 40". The one bad review for the 40" seems a bit paranoid and mad e.g. "There is no setting to switch off Wi-Fi, which is typical of Samsung's spying TVs that allow them to download recordings of you"

some people don't want a 48" 50"
screen hanging around.
is it hot worth getting a 4k if it's not this size?
the smart Lcd where this price not long ago.

For the average home user chances are for the screen size you'd probably not get the full viewing benefit of the increased resolution with the viewing distance between you and the set. I've a 48" Samsung 4K set and whilst great I wish I had a bigger size to maximise the benefits. The picture quality on the limited content available is superb and I notice a distinct difference all the same, though we're some way from where we should be to be really getting the most out of these 4k capable sets.
Apparently TV series like 'House of Cards' on Netflix are mastered in 4K. However true 4K Blu-ray discs are yet to be available. It's 4K upscaling for the most part.

The 5x promotion is 1900 points (5x 380) so £19 off your next buy, or maybe slightly less after a 10% code

I recently tried to order a TV from PRC Direct via Rakuten but ran into problems when they tried to charge for delivery retrospectively. I ended up cancelling my order because the extra £20 they wanted to deliver made the deal less attractive. Apparently I live in a Highlands and Islands postcode, despite living 4 miles from the Forth Road Bridge and 9 miles along motorway from Edinburgh.

The absolutely horrid reviews left about the customer service and delivery used via this website is completely off-putting... shame!

How much 4K content currently exists? How close must we sit to a 40-incher to 'see' 4K?
I smell marketing.

40 inch 4K TV is great if you're using it as a monitor.
