Got my Superpoints today. 379! Gah!
PRC Direct were really slow at taking my money for some reason and it didn't come out of my account until 30th December. I suspect that might be why unless bonus points get added on later? I'm emailing Rakuten

My TV was delivered today (to Northern Ireland) whoohoo. There was a suspicious rip in the side of the box below one of the handles and when I reach in, its exactly where the plug lead is.
My Rakuten points haven't appeared but the last time I bought something, it took about a week for the points to appear so I'm not worried.

No, but my TV was delivered yesterday, it does say up to 16 days after delivery. I think you need to use the points before January as well don't you?

My order was cancelled too but I ordered the JU6400 instead with the discounts. Comes to about £350.
If you planned to purchase this as a PC monitor be advised that it can't do 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 chroma sub-sampling (Full RGB) so text will look fuzzy. The JU6400 can do 4:4:4 @ 4K 60Hz.
It's showing at £499 and then £459 with code, has the price changed?

No its a very low input lag figure. Especially for a TV. It's less than 2 frame when running at 60fps.
The best you'll find on a monitor is 10-12ms of input lag.
Response time of the display will be 1ms-5ms depending on screen technology.

Thanks OP, haven't bought this, but, just bought the Samsung 40JU6500 with £40 off (XMAS10 Code only took £40 off for some reason), £40 Top Cashback and £95.85 back to put towards my sound system on Rakuten with the points (9,585 points), so effectively getting a TV that I've been after, that should be around £639 for around £463, so thank you OP!

I went for the LG 40" 4k TV which is on Rakuten with Hughes. The Samsung has some reports of light leakage, so for an extra £15-20 the LG seemed a better option. Also PRC Direct do not have a good reputation for delivery times (not sure about Hughes).

27ms is more than good enough if you are a normal / casual gamer. If you play online games competitively like FPS (twitch shooters) then I agree that it is on the high side but competitive gamers should aim for 144Hz Gsync monitors anyway.

I still can't see any use for 4k (or 3D for that matter). Logically, non-4k TV's should be cheaper, but for some reason they are effectively the same price... Which makes you wonder...

i got this tv on black friday, this tv is good but because no channels are in 4k you wont get blown away and it can at first look make tv look worse as my old LG was better an thats 8 years old!!but if you fully customise settings you will soon see its a great tv for the price and the smart tv is great as you can add IPTV if you are familiar with such stuff so you can watch free tv from all over the world.BE WARNED THOUGH THE STANDS ON THIS ARE IN RIDICULOUS POSITION and didn't fit on my tv shelve
